@LittleNerd Ok sweetie, i'm just telling you what we went through, as did thousands of other katrina victims.plus what grandparents dealt with during ww2.My 87 yr old grandfather was in the navy during ww2.he was only 16 when he enlisted,lied about his age like alot of ppl did.Plus,for every dollar they receive in donations..only 10 cents goes to actual helping ppl. the rest are "their costs" Salvation Army however who is faith based, way more then 10 cents goes to actual help.

Love the video and the message. I remember this song from when I was a kid - when it was a new release. It's good to see animals included in something like this. Animals are able to get any of the organ related illnesses humans get - diabetes, cirrosis, heart disease, lung cancer, brain cancer, asthma, hyperthyroidism, dementia... They just can't tell us when they get it. They are more like us in thought processes and physiology than we give them credit for.

Basic example: Nobody likes to be made to get up and go to bed when they're warm and cosy! Human or dog. We all get hungry, tired, happy sad, desperate etc. They're like us jst with specific animal differences. People that can't or won't see that don't know much about animals or are (too often) arrogant.

@LittleNerd I used to do animal rescues. I had a diabetic cat & now I have one with an enlarged heart and another with asthma. I also have an enlarged heart and asthma - we're on the same meds. I've seen animals grieve, I've had some cats who were caregivers to me, & who helped me through loss. I had one who took on the job of guide cat with a kitten temporarily blinded by a bad adopter. I've seen levels of compassion in animals that put many humans to shame. We could learn a lot from them.

i would just like to say.... i would much rather go to the poor people living on the streets and give them money, instead of to a charity, because over half the money i donate to a charity goes to pay for the office and the workers..... so if you read this, i beg you not to donate to charities, because you money doesn't go to the people in need of help, but to the people supposedly helping.... just take Haiti for example....
