he injured his slide leg during the masters the next year. and the year after that the equipment he had was no match for the conditions out on tour. hammer stuff picked up waaaaay to early and rolled out on tour this year and he was busy opening his pro shop

Nice job Tom. I can't stand to watch Reyes anymore. He curses at himself and comments of nothing but negativity. He is lucky he defeated Duke, because Reyes is not on the same level of anyone else in this tournament.

thats not true. Reyes is a great bowler and has just had too many bad breaks on tv. ya i agree that he wasnt doing himself any favors talking to himself but after going 3 straight tv telecasts in a row let alone majors he really started getting down on himself. during this he wasn't realizing how good his last run was making the telecast on the last 3 majors

Anybody notice that Tony Reyes left the lane right after he finished his 10th frame? Poor guy, he was obviously really suffering. At least he kept his composure on camera.

he was really upset. u felt that he bowled well. i talked to him about this and he really thought he deserved to win. he only had one problem jones was making the pattern look easy and was averaging like 9 strikes a game on THIS pattern

honestly, i feel for tony reyes for that fourth frame disaster, but if he thinks he deserved to win, he's kidding himself.

NOBODY DESERVES ANYTHING. tommy bowled better, so what? that doesn't mean tony is a weaker player. i'd really like to see tony back on tv again, because i think he DESERVES to cut himself a break, reboot, and fight for some titles in the future.

u don't know that; even if the conditions were that bad in the first match, the conditions were just as easy for tommy and tony in the last match, so tony lost fair and square.

i don't mean to sound critical, but that is one hell of a typo. not because u missed a key but because you inverted the subject of the sentence. small, but significant

actually i do know that for a fact. i was told by tony himself and he has videos to prove it. during the first match between duke and reyes the lanes transitioned and broke down quite a bit making them just right for jones.

again, if the lanes were good for jones, they were good for tony. if tony only knows how to bitch and complain about losing fair and square, then perhaps he doesn't deserve to win as much as he thinks he does.

winners don't complain, they either solve the problem and win, or they learn from their losses and get back up to do what they do best. the way you're describing tony to me, it sounds like he's got a long way to go before he becomes truly successful in this sport.

Nice to see Tommy get back in the Winner's Circle. I think Norm might've had a chance against Jones if he'd defeated Reyes. Norm has some kinda magic that allows him to shoot back when the pressure's on.
