AH, such a sadness...a jewish cemetery that became a park! i don't like that idea...sounds grotesque!

Yes, it was rather sad. I especially didn't like how it was right next to a busy highway, and it was very difficult for visitors to access the memorial. This is something that I think is important for people to visit, both for Latvians and for visitors.
