The Walking Englishman - Coniston Old Man, Swirl How and Wetherlam

Me and my girlfriend did this walk yesterday. It was the worst day of my life. Got lost after leaving the summit of Swirl How - visibility was terrible and I've never felt wind so powerful - we were really struggling to stay upright! It was raining/sleeting at the same time which didn't help! Couldn't find the path and ended up panicking - we were seriously beginning to consider phoning Mountain Rescue. Luckily we managed to find our way back to the summit and went back the way we came!

We did this walk but in reverse yesterday, an excellent day, my son enjoyed the scramble up Wetherlam and led the way. My only regret is not taking ennough pictures but your video will help us to remember.Thanks
