A truly amazing run! Just one question, why didn't you use one shot of the boomerang cutter on the Launch Octupus stage (he looses his arms and he doesn't do that annoying water hurricane) This might help you to improve your time... :-P // Pastorn

Curious: that rapid shooting when you're fighing the big robot thing in launch octopus' stage, can that be done by just rappidly mashing the Y button, or were you using that technique?

@Serenade92x I was mashing the y button. I think there's some sort of "longest proof video ever!" video on my channel that shows me going through the intro stage just mashing y. I actually didn't use the 3-finger technique anywhere in this run.

just a quick side note for anyone who still thinks its a turbo controller. Watch closely on armored armadillos stage. near the end when he's riding the mine cart and he's facing backwards firing, if it was a turbo controller his shots would be in consecutive 3 round bursts. However he's firing a steady stream. So its certainly not a turbo controller.

i got my snes in the US and it's at normal speed for me personally...also i have my guiness world record 2009 book with me (gamer's edition) the speed run for this game...at least the record they have in the book is 46 minutes...iiiii even if you say it's like 45 minutes it STILL beats the world record...i vote you send in what you have hahahaha

@lordylordcraft my thing doesn't actually qualify for guiness because of the glitch I use in sigma 1 that saves like 10-15 seconds, it's really fucking stupid, but guiness takes their records from twin galaxies instead of speed demos archive. And most twin galaxies players are fucking horrible and are content to call their shit "world records" when SDA videos are right in front of their faces. not all, but most.

@Tiki656 its NTSC, and idk what that guy its thinking , cause in mexico it was very common to see 1UPshowmans in the arcades, and this game was in the arcades of all mexico in the 7in1 cartridge, it was very usual to see 1up games of this and metal slug, that guy may be dosent play too much away from home, XD, nice video and go for the world record.
