  • Just grab the damn thing. It's no bigger than the bull snakes and gardener snakes we get where I'm from. They hardly bite at all.

  • ok a few things here lol you kinda need to stop being a wimp its a baby corn snake for crying out loud. ive had worse from a mosquito bite. and also your back yard is hardly the wild lmfao. also corn snakes dont really get big enough to get on rats. they stay on mice more often then not. also you should kinda man up and deal with a corn snake better then you did if not your son wont have a chance at being a man

  • That kid is cute as

  • its a corn snake its bite is no harder then a pinch u could have had it away within 30 secs if u wernt so scared

  • That kid is too dang cute haha

  • Laughing out loud! The man chats for ages to the corn snake the corn snake looked like he was fed up laughing out loud! AND BY THE WAY WHAT CORN SNAKE IS THAT...

  • my corn snake and i enjoyed your video.by the way my corn snake would like you to tell his cousin there he still owes us 20 bucks!lol

  • me and my frend had one of these it bit him and he bit back

  • Stop hating people at least he let it go other people will just kill the snake he respects it tho

  • @ReptileAmp Good point. And he's a good role model for his son. A good man!

  • knaww you scared the poor little thig half to death.

  • dude you was acting like a girl lol you made it seem really hard to catch a corn snake lol

  • lol in the grass with a lawn mower. cruel

  • Kannst du meine seite gefällt mir machen ? ♥ Reptiles lovers, please click on the button if you like my page or my site..♥ Sürüngen severlersayfayı beğen ♥ FACEBOOK page : corn snake(kornatter)misiryilani

  • thats never a corn snake

  • Man up, get ride of the rag! lol

  • That one didn't look to much like a corn snake and that one was to fast

  • Why did u pick it up it would of left on its own it wouldn't just of stayed there it would go and find another place at one point and you scared it loads no wonder it bit u

  • Why didn't you just grab the snake? You were making the snake nervous.

    It's just a Corn snake

  • The first corn my brother got was the most agressive thing in the world, It was soooo tiny when we got it and sooooo mean. mine is sweet. shes big for a corn and old.

  • have you kept any of these guys ?

  • Rule number one about snakes, NEVER hold a snake by the tail. Their heads can swing back and strike. The next time use a net. BTW, nice pool!

  • 2 words ......... U CRAZY!!

  • That was a rat snake and it would have left anyway give it its space snakes are cool

  • no thats a corn snake u can tell by the head

  • 1) thats a rat snake

    2) the main reason he striked at you was proberly because he was scared to death which is why getting so close was a bad idea

    3) he was in his defence pose if a snake poisonous or not is in that position (the s shape) leave it alone and give him space

it was a very confused and scared snake and by getting up so close when it wanted to be left allone and using the camera (he desnt know wht it was so it proberly made him more scared) was cruel

  • @clarinetstar14 guess what corns snakes are? red rat snakes, you are correct in that they are rat snakes. (elaphe)

    of course it was scared.

he was defensive because he was scared. you mean venomous, no ? it was around chemicals, i would have moved it.

  • @SpinninTom just because they are both in elaphe it dosent mean that the are the same there is alot more to taxonomy cornsnake taxonomy Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata clas: Diapsida Subclass: Lepidosauria Order: Squamata Suborder: Serpentes Family: Colubridae Genus: Pantherophis Species: P. guttatus
  • @clarinetstar14 you have completely misunderstood the comment

  • @SpinninTom no i havent i just hate it wen people think that ratsnakes and cornsnakes are the same because of 'elaphe' also i think its cruel to the snake to have a camera and kids running around it that sort of thing would freak it out if your gunna move a snake do it when there are no distractions cos snakes get scared too

  • @SpinninTom rat snake taxonomy Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Subphylum: Vertebrata Class: Reptilia Order: Squamata Suborder: Serpentes Family: Colubridae Subfamily: Colubrinae Genus: Pantherophis Species: P. obsoletus look at the species they are different
  • that's one big fuckin house.... rich ass ahahahahah

  • I wouldn't mind having a corn snake around my house it will kill the rats for me :)

  • You commenters are stupid.. Thats a rat snake. You should practice caution around them, as this guy did. They arent as nice as corns. I like how this guy treated the situation though. He makes a good father.

  • Silly yank bastard. That snake would have lived happily around your house, not done you any harm. It is a rat snake, not a corn. I have a Corn and he is beautiful.

  • My stepdad has a corn snake named Corny. Not kidding.

  • iam scared of all snake in my yard, found a small king snake ring around at i thought it was a core snake, i know black and yellow kill a fellow red and black is a friend of jack.

  • @gregcj1 we have snake all around my yard if i do not see one every 3 days i think something wrong .

  • idiot i have a corn snake and i just take it with the hand, she dosent bite mee, dont be scared for a corn snake lol :D

  • I shit myself when you put him into the grass and you can hear the lawnmower in the background Haha

  • I love it when you say "No Ryan... get outa here"

  • corn snakes dont generally attack, they aren't known at all for biting, in fact they use restriction to kill food, they don't have venom and they have small pretty much harmless teeth. they don't mind humans, they are just little escape artists thats all.

  • You have one hack of a house

  • where do cornsnakes live in the us

  • I've found several corn snakes in my garage and house.I just grab them, play with them a minute then put them in my backyard. It's safe from idiots with plently of food sources. They don't even seem to mind, never had one so much as coil up at me.

  • livelovelife517 makes me laugh telling this guy not to own a snake. Well..... he doesn't own a snake obviously! Besides, he's just trying to remove a snake from his home, he could have just killed it but then you'd probably bitch more about that!

I think he did fine, of course the snake was going to be scared and lash out, it wasn't in captivity and is more used to wild life than being handled.

  • It was hard to see at times but it appears that this was a yellow rat snake rather than a corn snake. Yellow rats start out similar to corns and as they get older the checkered pattern will turn into stripes on the snake. That snake appeared to have the beginning of the stripes. Yellow rats also don't have quite the nice disposition as the corn. Regardless, what a great role model you are for your kid.

  • DAM NATURE U SCARY

  • Even though hes not venomus you should hold the snake in a fashion he cannot bite you like hold him with your fingers lightly pinching his mouth clossed so he cannot bite you

  • Nice one for respecting him mate

  • that snake wouldnt even give ua cut mate cornsnakes are not venemous so just pick him up m8

  • No offense, but you should not own a snake of any kind. You have no idea what your doing, yes this is a captive bred animal. But it still has wild instincts, your scaring him and thats why he strikes at you. Go sell the snake and save you and all the snake lovers some trouble..

  • @livelovelife517 are you an idiot he obviously doesnt own it if he let it go retard...

  • lol u hear the lawn mower id lagh if he got shredded in that (yes i am being a bit mean but tbf it would)

  • Hahaha I love this guy documenting his adventure! That's scary!!!

  • Use a pair of grill tongs.

  • thats amazing. thanks for respecting the creature.

  • its so much easier to catch snakes if you tail them

  • the snake looks like it has those little eyes that you glue on to things... haha awesome!

  • 1 day before my b day

  • you couldve grabbed it within the first 30 secodns

  • Can a young corn snake come down with RI if the tank is 30 - 50% humidity but the tank has been sprayed once a month roughly?

He's also gone a couple days without water, but that's all.

(haven't been around to take care of him enough the past 3 months)

  • Stop pissing it off then you prick!!

  • The snake is like ahhhhhhhh get gah!

  • the kid is like... WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON !

  • Doesn't look like a corn snake to me either and I keep many of them myself. It looks like a Rat snake of some kind, though I'm not familiar with very many types of rat snake. And yes, thanks for respecting the animal!

  • lol, shock plus :D

  • lmaooooo this should have over a million views so funny

  • well of course it gonna bite yhu... yhu like moved him from his home..!!! its like attaking him.. what would yhu do if some one just came to yhu and tried taking yhu..!!! and ps its not a corn snake

  • THATS SCARY!!!!!!!!

  • thats good that you respect the snake- but that dont look like a corn snake 2 me i have 2 of them and it dont look like one...

    cool house though.

  • Ryan is a lucky kid from the looks of that hoise

  • haha i how thw lawn mo-er doesnt run him over lol

  • yah thats not a corn snake

  • @TheCodingguru what kind of snake was that?

  • lol no teeth in corn snakes :P

  • corn snakes dont bite dumbass

  • @jackripstick You're an idiot. Did you watch the video/do you have any experience with snakes whatsoever? Ignorant nutsack.

  • @jackripstick ............

  • that is not a corn snake man..

  • He Let it go so the gardener can run over it LOL

  • What do you thinks gonna happen when you put a camera in it face, douche bag.

Note this is how you DON'T handle a snake.

  • What do you thinks gonna happen when you put a camera in it face, douche bag.

  • Definitely not a corn snake. Maybe some sort of garter.

  • I would have just grabbed the snake, i caught one earlier and saw what I call the MOAS (aka Mother of All snakes) and that got away.

  • @CALLOFDUTYFREAK950 he may be scared of them you prick

  • yea..umm i dont think thats a corn snake...but maybe it is..

  • any snake just born or adult 25 years old can reach its own tail, you should never pick up any snake by the tail center of the body and let the snake do the work, if it strikes and you dont really want to keep the snake just move the objects from around the snake and it will leave when its ready, and corn snake bites dont hurt that is a rat snake because the jaw bone is to thick for a corn that big that snake is about 1 year old and is not yet use to its own surroundings, my advice

  • That's more a rat than corn snake

  • 4:36

    Are you sure that's corn?

  • sorry i was thinking of garter snakes, thats what i do just get there tail and unless there are real mad all you haft to to is move your hand up when they move there head up

  • just grab its tail they cant get there head up to bite you

  • @renagadehockey wtf?! yes they can. especially if they're wild you will get bitten. snakes are practically one big mussel, so they have the strength to get to their tail. i have a corn snake and you should check your info before you post it.

  • i'll never forget Yuma, Tn 1983 I was 9 years old playing bb in my grandmothers backyard & instinct told me to look down & there was this cornsnake slithering towards me like within inches

  • is that a sexy girl ina bikini in the backround? 1:09

  • thats a nice house :)

  • yea..rats...lol

  • thats not a cornsnake

  • @perfew It does seem like some species of rat snake though

  • @wan2shuffle It does look more like a rat snake to me

but i really only can identify a corn because I've dealt with so many

  • I use to be fascinated by snake events as a kid .

  • oh ya let him out when some ones mowing there loon thats a great idea

  • haha mine only did that when we first got him and he was a rescue but hes nice now so check out my channel and comment and subscribe

  • wow

  • i hope the guy on the lawnmower doesnt run over him/her :[

  • good video =P Although that's a yellow rat snake. =)

  • thx for respecting the animal =)

  • @lordabomity You do realize animals are nothing but a food source its not the serious if he touched it or anything.

  • @BboyChrizCrozz So you're saying that animals don't deserve respect because we can eat it?

  • @lordabomity NOOO :/ its just not that bigga deal its nice that he did but if he didnt would u have been mad?

  • @BboyChrizCrozz Thats what I meant. It's nice that he did that.

  • why did you make the noise put a paper towel over his head

  • why did you make the noise

  • ur supposed to pick it up with a hooky object or one and in the middle and one just at the head

  • It's a garter snake - they have different heads to corn snakes, and different patterns. Quite a cute little 1 - shame he got scared :(

  • 'Back into the wild' how many buildings were around? :)

  • lol when he said i know you're scared and stuff i thought he was talking to his son

  • back into the wild also known as my neighbors garden

  • um...that's a garter snake....

  • 4:44 mowing the lawn ?

  • thenoblequran (Ctrl+Enter)

  • You should have listen to your kid n you might not have gotten bitten

  • cool snake

  • That's a yellow rat snake...not a corn.

  • @Darone66 actually rat snakes and corn snakes are the same species they just have diffrent names like a puma is also known as a mountain lion

  • @snakemast66 actually corn snakes are only 1 species of rat snake there are many different kinds in the US and that is indeed a yellow rat snake

  • U shouldn't really uproar a snake when it's curling like that

  • not this way ..... but but my mommy is over there

  • they eat mice...lol just making a correction for u

  • Nice house and you are really friendly to snkes. I bet people would just get a broom and kill it

  • put it in front of the lawn mower

  • Dang bra ur livin in a penthouse w/ a pool and I got a 5 bedroom house....

  • that is acool house dude!

  • This guy is cool! But, I would keep a snake hook out by the pool....just an idea!

  • soo im pretty sure this is a common rat snake and not a corn snake as others have stated before hand lol but a big clue for me was not the temperment of the snake but the markings and underbellly most wild corns are a variety of reds and oranges with some brown and black and a marking on there ventrals that resembles corn of some type lol but i do appreciate how u handled the situation and that you taught thw little boy the correct way to handle the situation as well

  • taste me like you mean it

  • I really like snakes, corn snakes are beautiful but when you get it , at first he might bite you and will be aggressive but it will pass after few days when snake get to know you ...

  • "Of course, if you did bite, it wouldn't hurt... just the initial shock-"

    *snake bites camera*

    "THAT'S SCARY!"

  • that snake didnt actually look like a corn snake to me

  • Watch out for that lawnmower, little snake!

  • Nooooooo not with a nautica towel :[

  • You are correct in your research of this being a rat snake, and not a corn. Every once in a while you will come across a nippy corn snake. I've had many corn snakes, with only one that I would consider aggressive and a little difficult to calm down. Thank you for handling the situation properly by releasing the snake back to the wild with no harm done. I wish more people would follow your example!

  • very nice video. One question though. How you knew its not venomous? although It obviously looked like a rat snake but stll...

  • Snake bites are not soo bad!

  • a lot of the time people will say king snakes are good beginner pets and i give that a big HELL NO i had a 6 foot one picked the little fucker latched on to my hand. the one at my petsmart mean as hell they fuckin suck!

  • @nikesk8er10 Kingsnakes have a very bad habit of biting your hand, one finger at a time, to determine whether or not they are food items, if they are hungry. Sometimes it takes a while for them to figure out that your hand is not their food. I would never keep a kingsnake because they are that DUMB! Hungry kingsnakes will also eat each other when they mistake their cagemates for food.

  • Its definite a yellow rat snake. Corn snakes never usually bite. They are more delicate and gentle.

  • @crazyflygirl00 I got bitten by mine yesterday because I got too close to it's face xD

  • 1:43 "THATS SCARY"!!! lmao classic

  • Awww. Can you send me one. PLZZZ! lol

  • I find it kinda funny how right when you let him go into the grass you hear a lawn mower... AHHHH!!!! haha dont get me wrong, I love snakes! Have a ball python and a corn snake of my own actually lol

  • Maybe he was hungry

  • ''Don't chuch it!'' That little kids adorable!

  • wow you have a beautiful house, and that's a pretty little snake you have there, wish I could find one like that ha

  • @LeonDGM I agree that is a cool house.

  • My corn snakes has never bitten me and Ive had him for about 4 years.

  • Great video, but that doesn't look like a corn snake...trust me, I have one.

  • @emphilis1213 haha jus cos you hav 1 doesn't make you a herpm expert mate :) ther are ALOT of diff morphs with cornsnakes, and some can look like that.

  • @LeonDGM I know there are different morphs I've seen a lot but none like that. I guess it's wild, so that's possible, Its just not very easy to recognize. So no hard feelings?

  • @emphilis1213 Yeah I understand, no hard feelings :)

  • Epic snake, epic boy, epic house, epic video 5/5

  • so ive got a question...if i were 2 buy a corn snake and put him in a proper terrarium...could it somehow escape...im asking this because my mom is freaking out whether or not it will get out and bite her! lol

  • @shrtstff1710 Highly doubtfull. Corns rarly bite. My boa would get out all the time, wake up and find him sitting in the floor and he was fine. Its rare for snakes to et out tho if you have them in a proper enclosure

  • No, but my corn snakes never bit me nor tried too, I guess I have the most friendly corn snakes lol, but you should see my video I just put up

  • is Corn Snake Venomous?

  • my corn snake has bit me and one time decided the side of his glass aquarium was a good thing to eat.....talk about a head ache

  • my 8 yr old corn bit somebody yesterday, made her arm bleed, this is not normal behaviour for this snake, he usually soo friendly, any ideas anybody to why he might have bit?

  • Glad you did not harm the snake and let it go.

I think you were too worried about it biting you though lol. Yellow rat snakes are generally aggressive but their bite is harmless.

Karma again for letting it go to keep the mice / rat population down around your place.

  • I've had my snake for about 8 months and he's never tried to bite me.. until 5 mins ago! he constricted my hand then tried to eat my thumb lol

  • @TheMarabouStork Mine got constricted around my groin once, ohhhhh shite I was thinking. DO NOT BITE ME!!!

  • Jeez youre brave, if it bit me like that i wouldve thrown it on the ground and probably stomped on it to death...........

  • iv got a striped corn that looks like that but its red and orange

  • You sure thats a corn snake?
