I filmed this protest march outside Civic Center. The cops converged on the crowd with full force.I tried to escape the mayhem but was shoved back by the cops and my camera blocked a baton hit. I felt in danger of being assaulted or arrested so I escaped to higher ground to document the 100 arrests that took place after. Somehow two provocateurs dressed like the rest stood outside the police line during the mass arrest. This is a great example of our police state with $50 million in DNC budget!

One of my professors was asking whether anyone had been watching the convention & I realized that footage of the protests were the only thing I had seen. I'm a registered Democrat, so you would think that the actual conventions should be something that would interest me, but I feel as if it's all a sham.
