Well, it's hard to train newly caught pokemon as compaired to your awesome party at that point in the game. The only time it's worth it is with a pokemon like Dratini or Larvitar.

Exactly. In my opinion Dragonair's evolution should be a longer serpentine dragon with larger and more majestic wings with forearms, but still no legs. Maybe elongate the horn on its head to unicorn length. THAT would be a truely epic Pokemon. Maybe make it the female Dragonite by evolving it with a Moon Stone?

Exaclty. I'm pretty good at making fake pokmon evolutions for pokemon I like. My favorite being Mawlina, a steel/dark evolution of Mawile.

In a nutshell, Mawlina is about twice Mawile's size (about 5' 2") her fingers are now claws, she has two small loop earings in each ear, her maw has a heart on it with fangs she has longer hair, an intense look with a beauty mark, b-sized breasts, longer and slimmer legs and she's just awesome! <3 She evolves by tameness and only by female Mawiles.
