  • This is great thankyou!

  • 134lbs. at 5'10, lean body with little fat. Diet: light carbs, light dairy. Mostly meat, fruit and vegetables in that order. I can bench my body weight and run 3 miles without tiring. I tried veg and turned anemic according to my doctor and bloodwork, so this works for me. I'd say I am far from unhealthy.

  • @SuburbanoidMisfit111 Get informed man you are too ignorant.

  • @LuckynumberSlevin11

Oh yeah, i know this one. Everyone is ignorant and uninformed that does not prescribe to your vegan propaganda. Do they issue you loaves a playbook, because this shit is too predictable.

  • I am not really certain that it is the proper eating plan for any person, however DietOramy diet regimen regime undoubtedly helps my granny remove all of that extra body weight. You can find lots of free info on the world wide web of it, simply use Google...

  • @EllenRebecca3 Breakfast, wholegrain cereal with oat milk and a little honey, a cereal beverage some fruit. Lunch, a salad roll or some noodles, Dinner something home made with lots of vegetables, like Vegan lasagne, vegetable soup, homemade Chilli beans etc etc... and salad. I'm a tradesman, I used to live on a high protien diet, lots of steak. I find that now I'm vegan I eat a lot more, I'm always hungry, but I'm very active.

  • I became vegan for religious reasons, and I've stacked on the wieght

  • @redcolt777 What have you been eating?

  • I don't think grains are very good too. They are toxic unless completely processed.

  • If people were meant to eat plant based diets we wouldn't have to eat soy!

  • @FallenPrey33 Soy causes cancer. Just saying...

  • Holla! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my sister lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • Sounds like King Xerxes from the movie 300.

  • If you said this on a massive scale in america, most people will call you a communist. Itsnt that so strange?

  • why do i feel as if only the healthy people listen to this video? and not the obese people?

  • Hi @lukyganesh , I think I found Fast ways to lose weight . You should see this…

    tinyurl@com/Quick-ways-of-loosing-weight :)

  • @lukyganesh Excellent point, and I'm sure you're right. I suspect the truth may be thathealthy people are interested in pursuing the healthiest lifestyle (and find this video :-), and the obese (that is, the ones uninterested in losing weight) simply aren't looking for nutritional education-related info.

  • @lukyganesh you know what i think i agree

  • Comment removed

  • Omg, it's Obama talking!

  • Hello! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my father lost tons of weight with it.

  • @2pac

    Grossly? Really?

    Hahaha lol

Haven't heard that in forever, and used in a sentence wow! But doesn't mistaken follow grossly in conversational use? Ha ha

  • Anyone got a healthy dieet for sporters?

  • @openupfresh Your grossly misunderstanding what vitamins are if you think they are in there real form in a slim right >< Those are chemical human made versions that actually degrade the immune system. Not build it up

  • lol@dedicated messenger....my thoughts exactly go vegan....stop eating the poor animals...what gives humans the right!!!!!!!!!

  • lol@dedicated messenger....my thoughts exactly

  • Just read "The Vegetarian Myth" and get informed. You'll live longer and happier.

  • uhhh, please don't come to a vegan video just to argue about how bad it is. that, my friend, is immature. some people believe that this is healthy for them, others don't. so what? at the end, it doesnt matter how many facts we throw into each others faces.

whoever ends up living longer and has less chronic disease in 50 years wins this argument.

  • did you know that BMI index is wrong because i am a naturally heavy built with no fat and i am only 5ft 7 and i am 14 stone aparrently i am obese but like my docter says it is made for the average skinny person i supposed to weigh 9 to 10 stone!!!! rofl

  • @GWR4079 : The BMI index is meaningful but only for we mere mortals. The glaring flaw is that it only takes hieght and weight into account.

  • Btw I am Chinese. After asking many of my relatives and friends of the same nationality about the diets of their grandparents, all of them said meat is definitely part of our diets - especially fatty ones. What is with all this vegetarian and vegan non sense, Chinese people are not vegetarians or vegans! Only vegetarians among us are religious Taoists or monks! Ever think about the French? They eat even more meat & fat than the Chinese and live way longer! Facts speak for themselves.

  • @Eyecandy4u : Due to more disposable income in China, meat consumption is rising there. The experiment is starting now. We will see the effect (good, bad or otherwise) of increased animal protein and fats on the Chinese public.

  • With the China Study, Campbell fails to mention the county of Tuoli - a group of Chinese people who have one of the lowest rates of cancer and heart disease (as well as low cholesterol) yet they consume the highest amounts of meat, fat and dairy of any province. Their rates were far healthier than almost vegetarian provinces. Why on earth would Campbell leave that out? Oh YES, because it disproves everything he stands for! Go check the original study for yourselves!

  • love it

  • just because meat is strongly correlated with obeosity doent mean you have to avoid it entirely. preach more hippies haha

  • @TooMuchToo0ften Thats the thing, meat has NOTHING TO DO WITH OBESITY. In fact it is nearly impossible to gain weight when a large portion of your diet consists of meat. You get FAT by eating carbs.

  • I feel sorry for the guy who so much work into this video. He's a little too late, now that the China Study (not really a study at all) has been totally debunked.

  • The poster who made this comment really needs to read "The China Study" book.

You obviously have not read the overwhelming research presented.

Secondly, vegan/vegetarian lifestyles are not optimal diets. You can be healthy on a diet like this. But eating meat is an OPTIMAL diet. People once again, are so ignorant. We have thrived off meat for millions of years

  • sounds like michael dorn, but probably not...

  • i love how the views go down as the videos go on.

  • I know some folks who were quite disappointed to have found out the hard way that the vegan/vegetarian diet they adopted to lose weight actucally caused them to gain weight!

  • l see someone ignorantly removed my factual comment answering his question of how there r several people (mostly female) who r vegan AND fat! One was big as me and the others were more Amazon like only b/c they were much taller and thus less round and more door shaped. And they ALL were vegan.

So whatever prick deleated my comment does NOT negate the fact that they r vegan and big. Not exactly sure why,

  • @Sogwa Good post. I agree.

  • I've been on the raw food vegetarian diet for over 10 years .. cooked food is dead food.. We were ment to eat food raw in it's natral state , The way nature intended it to be..im 38 years old . People say I look in my 20s.. Eating raw , slows down the aging process..cook food makes me tired.. raw food gives me life!..

  • I resently started a vegan lifestyle and I'm losing 4 pounds a week and I'm doing a lot of eating none of it refined foods (mostly very green salads, complex carbs, fruits and tvp). This lifestyle really works folks, and you have much more energy and you'll be a lot happier, turst me.

  • @lamarjlp914 That's so awesome! Congrats! If you need help/support or recipes/ideas for food, feel free to talk to me :D

  • @SailorVegan Sweet!!!!! I could use some recipes

  • This is the most manly voice on YouTube.

  • That's cuz you ain't heard mine yet! lol

  • @DedicatedMessenger Old Spice man? Idk its pretty

  • Sweetheart, that's not my voice, lol

Please visit my blog, Wisdom Digest, and listen to my podcasts, that's my voice ...

... but I am delighted by your comments ;)

  • That's alright :-) I'm learning how to be a vegetarian, or more specifically a lacto ovo vegetarian (at the moment at least), and have done so far for four days. I'm really enjoying it but am anxious to make sure I get enough protein, calcium, vit B12 and iron - I know a lot of veggies and vegans are driven crazy by people saying they might go anaemic for lack of these things, but, as I'm inexperienced, I want to be careful. I love good health in all forms.

  • Vegans taking B12 supplements usualy have better B12 intakes than meat eaters.

  • @UniveralTruths

Wow, doesn't that just say something! 8-o Supplements too, and not a natural source coming from the ground. Worrying truth. I get B12 from Marmite as it's the closest I can get to a food. Am I better off eating that than a supplement though? Which is better for me, or is it a margin's difference?

  • Origionaly we would have gotten our B12 from raw unwashed vegetables. But the amount of pollution and overloading of the soils in modern agriculture has pretty much wiped that out. Most animals raised for meat will be given B12 suppliments too, so meat eaters aren't exactly better off. Alot of Dairy alternatives and many cereals are fortified with B12 now so there isn't much to worry about.

  • "Origionaly we would have gotten our B12 from raw unwashed vegetables. But the amount of pollution and overloading of the soils in modern agriculture has pretty much wiped that out." - I know, and it's a realy bummer :-( I think we're better off eating the fortified cereals and dairy alternatives as the nutritional content's better than meat and it contains no fat or cholesterol, but does contain fibre (the cereal). Can you name some cereals that contain B12 please? :-)

  • I am not sure, I don't really eat cereals. But I do have the dairy substitutes. I live in the U.K so I don't know if we have the same products. You can search the internet, there are many websites with good information.

  • I'm from the UK too :-) I'm sure I'll find B12 fortified cereals if I look for them. Cheers.

  • @EllenRebecca3 Food sources are ALWAYS better. Suppliments are useless. If you can get your source from food, GET IT from food!

Its interesting: vegans are "unhealthy" if they take a b12 suppliment. But meat eaters who take a multivitamin, plus vitaminC, plus vitaminD, plus whatever other pills they pop EVERYDAY are apparently healthy? Wait, so we take ONE suppliment (I'm raw and I don't) and it's bad, but meat eaters take billions of dollars worth of pills everyday and its fine? Bullshit.

  • I agree with you 100% about the diet pills. :-)

  • @UniversalTruths Why in the world would you want to take a supplement manufactured in a lab over REAL FOOD.

Bottom line is this study is ridiculous and has been exposed for how fraudulent it really is.

Secondly, vegan/vegetarian lifestyles are not optimal diets. You can be healthy on a diet like this. But eating meat is an OPTIMAL diet. People once again, are so ignorant. We have thrived off meat for millions of years.

  • @cdnp4p "Real food"? Some vegans take supplements. And what? You should look at yourself. The animals you eat are fed all kinds of supplements, otherwise they simply wouldn't survive in conditions they are grown. So if we include supplements taken indirectly, meat eaters take more of them, but still aren't as healthy as vegans.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 You do know that the vegetables you consume are most likely sprayed with an unbelievable amount of chemicals? Secondly, consuming grass fed, free range meat doesnt get any more natural than that. Eating animals that are eating the food they are meant to eat. Not only is it healthy for the animal but it is incredibly healthy for the human to consume this kind of meat. I just love when vegans take supplements containing nutrients that they can easily get from animals. LOL.

  • @cdnp4p First, do you know that meat has at least 14 times more chemicals than the food which animals eat? If you don't agree, it means you don't know physics.

Secondly, if you talk about meat made in a more natural way, why don't you talk the same about plants? Naturally plants contain all nutrients human body needs. No matter how animals are grown, meat is harmful to humans.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 "Naturally plants contain all nutrients human body needs. No matter how animals are grown, meat is harmful to humans".

First of all, no it doesnt. Secondly, saying meat is harmful to humans is absolutely absurd. The fact people say this is just makes me cringe. You are ignoring science, heaps and heaps of evidence and millions of years of HUMAN HISTORY by saying meat is harmful to humans.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 Like it or not, the best and healthiest diets in the world are those that contain meat.

  • @cdnp4p What science, what evidence? Meat eaters tend to be more deficient in calcium, magnesium, fibre, folic acid, vitamin C and vitamin E. These deficiencies and harmful substances (saturated fat, cholesterol, carcinogens, stimulant drugs and other) cause many health problems, and as result, vegans are healthier. For sure, getting vitamin B12 in a "natural" way may be a problem for vegans, as pollution (the result of meat industry) reduces its amount.

  • @cdnp4p Eating meat would cause more pollution, and I want to solve the problem, not to delay it. So I'd better take supplements until it becomes easy for vegans to survive in so called "natural" way. It's like switching from heroin (more natural) to methadone (less natural) to finally be able to live without drugs (that is the most natural way).

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 You are so misinformed. Its actually embarassing that someone thinks the way you do. Like I said, you are in desperate need of education. This China study has been debunked and proven to be full of absolute garbage. You'd think somebody would do some background research.

  • @cdnp4p Why do you talk about the China study (which has nothing to do with what I wrote) and don't prove anything?

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 You just called saturated fat and cholesterol harmful substances. There really isnt much to say. Like I said before, we arent fat, sick because of the consumption of meat. We are fat and sick because of the consumption of sugar, refined carbs and the food that we "think" are healthy are actually a big part of the problem. Why are we fatter now than we were 100 years ago DESPITE the fact, we ate more fat and a larger % of our calories came from fat 100 years ago than today.

  • @cdnp4p People eat more meat than they did 100 years ago, so they weren't that fat. Meat causes physical dependence which makes people less active. Refined carbohydrates only lack vitamins and minerals, while meat also has those harmful substances. Body tends not to turn carbohydrates into fat. Animal fat is harmful because it increases amount of LDL cholesterol which causes heart diseases.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 JESUS, you couldnt be more wrong. HAHAHA what harmful substances does meat have? If it was so harmful why do so many primitive diets rely heavily on meat consumption and they are incredibly healthy with absolutely no signs of the diseases of civilization. You are absolutely ignoring human physiology. Carbs spike insulin levels. Insulin causes fat accumulation. It is nearly impossible to gain weight on an all meat diet. Nearly impossible.

    you are so misinformed.

  • @cdnp4p Carbohydrates cause release of serotonin which makes energy easier to use. For some reason Atkins wasn't very thin. I already said what harmful substances meat has and your term "primitive diets" is very abstract. When I ate meat, I had many health problems. Because of that, people like you used to make fun of that, so now I don't give a shit if my diet looks "good" or "bad" to you.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 Yeah, thats the problem. You keep saying what harmful substances meat has BUT they are NOT harmful substances. Cholesterol, saturated fat serve many purposes in the human body. dietary cholesterol has very little effect on cholesterol levels in the human body. People dont have high cholesterol because of meat consumption. Thats not how the body works. Bottom line is, there is a direct correlation between high carb diets and obesity. Its why people eat carbs to gain weight.

  • @cdnp4p Opioids serve many purposes too, but it's better not to take them. Saturated fat increases amount of LDL cholesterol, which is very bad. What's more, animal fat contains trans fats. Meat also has stimulant drugs and stress hormones. High amounts of xanthine, hypoxanthine, uric acid and adrenaline increase heart rate, blood pressure and cause physical dependence. Meat isn't any better than crystal meth. Finally, despite higher carbohydrate consumption, somehow vegans are less overweight.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 I'd love to see studies showing trans fats is present in meat. Thats absurd. Do you even know what trans fats are? Vegans do weigh less but they also have significantly less muscle and bone mass. You'd also find meat raises HDL cholesterol as well and only some types of meat raise LDL. And like I said earlier, dietary cholesterol has very little effect on one's cholesterol levels. That all comes down to carbohydrates and the role of insulin.

  • @cdnp4p It's more absurd when people say butter is healthier than margarine "because margarine contains trans fats". And yes, vegans don't get those growth hormones which increase mass quickly. But to me, strength of muscles and bones is more important than their size and mass.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 Its absurd that you think Margarine is healthier than butter. Its also absurd that you think growth hormones are a result of increased mass and not the meat itself. How come some primitive diets which consisted of natural foods and an incredible % of meat consumption resulted in people being strong, tall and muscular? Meat eaters are stronger and have stronger bones than vegans. This is not even up for debate. And people can consume organic meat free from hormones.

  • @cdnp4p How come there are many vegan athletes who have as much muscles and strength as nonvegan athletes do? Vegans have stronger bones because they don't consume animal protein which leeches calcium from the body. And people can take crystal meth synthesized from organic ephedrine, but it's still not healthy, nor is meat.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 LOL, vegans do not have stronger bones. Thats once again absurd. And animal protein does leech calcium from the body. Just take a look at human history for crying out loud. Why were those who consumed meat bigger, stronger and taller than those who did not?

  • @cdnp4p As long as meat stimulants block adenosine receptors, they are stronger, but as tolerance develops, they need larger doses to achieve the same result and if they stop eating meat, adenosine causes weakness.

My grandmother died of cancer 5 months ago. My grandfather died of heart attack 16 years ago. I don't want to be the next in the list and this is one of the reasons why I'm a vegan.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 your grandfather and grandmother didnt die because of eating meat. meat does not cause cancer.

  • @cdnp4p Then how can you explain the correlation between meat consumption and many diseases, including cancer and heart diseases?

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 There is no correlation. We get cancer, diabetes and other illnesses because of the garbage we eat like refined, processed foods, sugar, rice, breads, pasta's etc. Meat has nothing to do with why people are sick and obese. Look throughout history, many primitive diets ate a huge portion of meat and they were physical specimens and absent were the diseases of civilization that plague the world now.

  • @cdnp4p Meat is processed food. Animal bodies process plants, so no matter what you do, it's processed. Meat consumption is growing, and not only it is harmful directly, but meat industry also causes much pollution, what isn't healthy either.

  • @DoomedSpaceMarine123 We will just agree to disagree.

  • @cdnp4p Just read your comment.. people in earlier times did eat meat, and yes there were way fewer cases of chronic disesase. . But in earlier civilization, plant based foods were the staple, and meat was the supplement. Nowadays it is the opposite. Also, the animal flesh in modern times are pumped with growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics etc. These sick bacteria ridden animals are also raised on fatty unatural corn diets. So you see NO correlation between eating animals and disease??

  • @STONRUNNIT Well, depending on where you came from, meat was a HUGE part of their diet and in some regions/villages, meat made up 60-80% of their diet. You raised a good point about the health of animals nowadays. And if I havent mentioned here, ive mentioned it in other clips on youtube. Animals need to eat the food they were intended to eat. They need to have the space to move around freely. That contributes to the health of the animal and ultimately the health of the meat we eat.

  • @STONRUNNIT Also, I believe the reasons why people are so unhealthy is not because of the meat but because of the sugar, processed, garbage foods we eat. % wise we dont eat more meat than we did 150 years ago. But, we eat far more processed carbs, we cook with awful vegetable oils, we consume too much sugar and have gone away from eating healthy home cooked meals. Vegetarian diets can be healthy but I dont think its an optimal diet.

  • @UniversalTruths supplements don't grow on trees thats why i eat meat :D

  • @UniversalTruths Unless you live in a sterile home, and don't eat vegetables, it is highly unlikely to be b12 deficient.

  • Sorry I repeated myself - I didn't read my last comment! This is all very new. :-)

  • your voice....lol : )

    Good video.

  • @peterpan2k That is the voice of Stephan Rudnicki. He is a great narrator of audiobooks on audible.com such as Orson Scott Card's Treason.

  • You rock! I'm becoming a lacto ovo vegetarian and this was a very interesting video. 5/5 stars Great voice by the way, you should be in a film! ;-)
