The alarm bells are starting to sound and I wouldn't be surprised if ratings plummet and Producer Steven Moffat is on the phone to Sean Pertwee a year from now begging him to become the twelfth Doctor to save the show from cancellation. If first impressions are anything to go on, Matt is nowhere near as good as David Tennant and only the son of the famous third Doctor Jon Pertwee can fill David's shoes.

No, I'm 41 and old enough to remember why Doctor Who was originally cancelled. The excellent Peter Davison was replaced by the useless Colin Baker and he in turn by Sylvester McCoy who was a poor man's Patrick Troughton. Doctor Who then went downhill rapidly. @ROS3tYL3R R0S3, I agree whole-heartedly! Moffat's writing has been very crisp so far: very exciting and new. Moffat even induced *Neil Gaiman* to write an ep for the upcoming season 6! Any series that gets "Mr. Sandman" on board is going in the right (albeit dark) direction!
As amazingly attractive as Karen Gillian is, I REALLY hope the Dr doesn't fall for her cos we've seen that befre and it would make his character somewhat shallow since it was clear that he loved Rose
The Dr. likely won't fall for Amy since he'll be busy falling for (and over, it seems) River. I sometimes suspect the Dr. is trying to fill the void Susan left; he wants a surrogate "granddaughter" so gravitates to young lasses.

The last episode about the weeping angels was great! I actually liked it better than " Blink" . This epi has been the best one so far.
I think the one with the Daleks during WWII was pretty lame. But, this weeks was great! I am looking forward to part 2 !

I agree - I was a little let down...I liked the first one much better because we were treated to actual clips from the new season....oh well. Roll on, Easter ;)
