Thanks for the video. Any thoughts on whether or not lens flare is increased with the filter. A bunch of the shots have flare. Just wondering if that was intentional or if shooting into the sun is worse with the filter than without.

@mtapes I would say there is a decrease in flare (it's like putting on sunglasses for your lens). The shots that look like they have flare have an effect done in post (composite)
Hey Mikey! Would this help if you were planning on shooting strobist on film? As my Mamiya 645 will only sync to 1/60 second as I don't have leaf shutter lenses and want to underexpose the ambient? Thanks.
You know Mikey, I hope you don't mind me saying - you've done so much in helping so many people to improve their photography skills - but, it's amazing to see how your photography has improved too. Don't get me wrong, there was certainly nothing wrong with your skills in the beginning - I've been following LUAS since fairly close to day-one, and your pictures were exceptional back then. But, seeing your new stuff, you can really see how your work has evolved and gotten better and better.
@noslen1968 Did you try watching it at 720? Most of the shots were taken at an aperture of 1.4 and I was slightly out of focus on several of the shots. But, I tend to overlook that sort of thing if I like the shot ...gotta lighten up a little.
@slimeball6969 That's funny! I was wondering if someone was going to ask me that. No, the pink is my post processing. I was screwing around trying to get an over-exposed film look.
@mikeyorange will you be in NYC this weekend? 10th anniversary of... you know.. I am going to go and at the last minute today my chief told us it was going to be a command trip, so now i get to go in uniform.... wanted to "blend in" so-to-speak
