Yes....I've followed and thought of those things as well and it's quiet a situation and tangled mess isn't it. I have the sense that something will happen soon one way or another and that this whole process my as well get started before people get any more frustrated than they already are. At this point, over 70% of the people here in my country think there is a UFO cover-up and the more time goes by, the bigger that percentage gets. So since we can't yet discard the possibilty of other sorts of reasons, the only way to resolve your theory and for the government to win the peoples trust is for them to become open and honest with them. lllwindrunner, people-fooling UFO-show had been shut down indeed - as you can convince yourself when you go to CNN's video website, enter the keyword UFO into the search field and look at the gap in the chronology. Obviously, there are seen some reasons, to cover the scientific side of the topic again, but in a more skeptical manner. Possibly, UFO-crazyness in US went heavily out of control. Fox's doco 'I knew what I saw' has serious problems to find a publisher and UFOhunters are dead.

Every speculation is as pointless, as if somebody claimed light could be created either by a combustion process or thermal emission; while in fact we have e.g. gas-discharge, fluorescence, phosopherescence, bio-luminescence, synchrotron- Cherenkov- and Hawking-radiation, Bremsstrahlung, etc.

You're saying that we have figured out how GEM works without the help of aliens and that 'UFO's' are not that hard to make. That means a lot of people should know how to make them, especially people who have the same or similar degree as you. What's weird is that there's no talk of it, not among anyone as far as I know, and that doesn't help your claim/case. But nothing is certain.
