The L.A. County Fair is great! My wife and I love the food and my son has a blast with the farm animals and games. I was so sad to see that the games at the midway require tickets now. Horrible decision!!! It was still a great time though.

I've never been to the LA County Fair. The one I've always went to is the OC Fair! Closer, though doesn't run as long. I remember that heat wave!!! But it wasn't as bad near the beach (I'm 5 minutes away). 5 bucks! OK kids, we're going THIS way :D

I love the OC fair!! The OC is always open first, than Pomona opens in September!! You're right, you're closer to the beach, it was alot cooler there last year! The latter is in the valley, HOT AS HELL;)

One of my oldest daughter's live in California,up by the Pismo Beach are. It's even been hot there!! This is my favorite time to go out there. But not this year,cash flow is low. :0(
