Jacobs has earnt my respect. Its not about the way he makes clothes. It's how he has a diffusion line (Marc by Marc Jacobs) and work sfor Louis Vuitton as well as his own label, that suprises me, how does he manage to do that? He must be a VERY busy man... He also made over 50 peices for his spring/summer 2009 collection, which was highly amazing! Whereas the average designer would make anything from 30 - 40 outfits. :)

Thats exactly what i said i saw the louis vutton show and saw him do his wave and thank you in the end it shocked me i was a fan from the beginning but damn hes like karl lagerfeld with more than one line to design and upkeep and theyre all great

Marc Jacobs is an unique designer. What he does, nobody else can do. The way he accesorizes, the way he mix the colors, the way he put the stamps, is something you'll never see in someone else. And that collection confirm my thinks.

Yves Saint Laurent would never have foisted something like this on women. It is just an antithisis to anything Yves ever stood for. "But who cares?" - well doesn't that seem to sum up Jacobs' design ethos?

When you compare Marc Jacobs to say Francisco Costa or the heads of Proenza Schouler - the difference is nonparallel. I would hope Costa's aesthetic is what's hailed as 'American beauty', rather than this.

today its about "fashion" . people wait for the new trends chosen by anna wintour and vogue magazine and forget about themselves, the self consciousness, the meaning of thing, n just copy n follow. MARC JACOB ( n what he has done to louis vuitton) symbolises it
