Dover is built inside of a mountain of 82% granite alkaloid rock. Before safe walls were put up all hits hurt more because of whats behind the wall. I repaired the wall. We fixed it after the race.
my grandfather worked for caterpillar in peoria, il for decades and i got to meet david green a few times at corporate functions and whatnot. he's an amazing guy and i miss watching him race every weekend.

Oh, I used to love NASCAR back then! Up until 2001 every sunday I would watch NASCAR. But from 01 up until now I only watched NASCAR on NBC because the good commentators were on there. Now I find myself watching mostly NNS races because there on ESPN. NASCAR should ditch Fox and stay with TNT and ESPN/ABC. And maybe bring back CBS. Thx for putting this on here!

@212809 Yeah he did on on a fuel mileage race. That wreck with Green was the last caution of the race, back in a time where really really long green flag runs at Dover were the rule not the exception.

Man I miss these days of Nascar. I never thought I would at the time, but given the sad state of Na$car right now, I really do.

what does TNN stand for someone told me it stands for The Nascar Network. is that true?
e521soediv 3 years ago
no it was the nashville network, TNN became spiketv, but back in the day it was a country music channel, like CMT is today
Randildo 3 years ago 3
battalionfan, do you have any other TNN races?
