Apr 2008.. Do you know they want to move the ROCK uptown to City Hall?? Outrageous!. It is part of the natural "White Rock" upon which the city evolved. I doubt they even own it nor the land it sits on. Write WR Council!
I lived there for 10 years... '79-'89 to be exact. Thems my old stomping grounds... Johnston road & North Bluff. I lived down 144 & 16, just across the street more or less from Centenial park. Cool to see this kinda shit on here!
Hmm, yeah I shifted there in 1979 too, I seem to recall there was only the street light at 152 and North Bluff then, no Semiahmoo Mall, it was still a bit of scrub..20th Ave didn't go through to Ocean Park, no hassles going to the West beach for nudey sunbaking and later fires on the beach...ahh life was good then......I called it quits in 2001 and shifted down here to the Gold Coast Australia, now this is still a beaut place!
