She´s one of those few artists that I like for a longer period of time.

She's sounds better in this than the original Japanese recording. Her Korean versions are always better tone wise. I don't know if she's trying to sell a different audience or if it's because she's not singing in her original language, but I have a feeling that it's the former.

chill chill johnny... don't kill him over it... he may have meant that asian singers sing better live more often than american singers. as a generalized statement. if not, guess that's on him. but you ever notice those asians, or at least japs sing almost as good, as good, or even better than their recorded songs. like check out l'arc~en~ciel's lives. i actually prefer listening to their lives than tracks because it's a diff experience, and it has more feeling...

you might have an acquired taste affect to this song. you tried listening to it a couple times? get lyric translations. maybe really paying attention to younha's vocals. her singing style, she really digs in vs typical soft/sweet female vocals. like when she says 'buuke' for me the song builds up to that moment. & actually i didn't really like houkiboshi myself *chuckles* try listening to her "ashita tenki ni nare" and "yubikiri/yagsok."
