Wow, I found this video by chance. I attended TPC for a couple of years, then bailed out in disgust. That was in 2009. More and more with time, I got the feeling that this was a personality cult, run by the Villamors. Where are they now? From their website, and public record, it appears that they vanished, the church shrank, they got out of the school property...I wonder what's up.
your tax dollars are NOT going towards their church. The building (school buildings) is a PUBLIC building meaning you cannot limit its use or discriminate who gets to use it. The church has to rent it out just like any other group who would ask to use the PUBLIC building. they do not and cannot leave their stuff there so students are not "exposed" to any of their beliefs or services. i don't know anything about this particular church, but be careful not to slip into discriminating.

After being at Turning Point Church for over 3 years, I have found no such claim of having false prophets or apostles. They in deed walk what they talk and teach what they preach. This is not a dangerous cult. It is typical fundamental pentecostalism. They are misled but they are no different than any other political social group. If people were well-educated in the first place, in meaning of the Bible as well as in general, this group would not be able to take over anything more than a small gathering. They also discourage young people from attending college and blur the lines between church and state by holding services in PUBLIC schools. I didn't know they left the church, i haven't attended there in 2 years. and as for a church, to build one that would be big enough would be about 20 mill. and the last one i know they looked at buying 4 or 5 years ago was about 3 mill. i believe. And they do show where money goes, go to the yearly buget meeting and they hand it out to everyone who goes.
What people are they harming? sure some people make mistakes with things, everyone does, we're human. a lot of people at the church just feel the need to help people, they help out a lot of people within and outside of the church, and not they don't ask for money for themselves, and the money that comes to the church has a purpose, they have been trying to raise money so they can get their own building and not have to rent anymore, but that costs a lot of freakin money.
Ok as to Pastor mike being an apostle, he did not just decide he was one, in a prayer time God told him he was one but not to tell anyone, i think it was within one or 2 months after that one of the elders at the church and another leader at the church adressed him as such, and it was a slow process after that that people started to hear about apostleship and it was also spoken over him in another prayer time with another pastor as well.

Again Christ died for our sins and we as Christians have spoken our faith on this and believe in our hearts that he dies for us. The fruit of God is not blinding but is iis food for the spirit that lives within us. Someone or something in your life has caused you some great pain and disappointment towards God and it seems quit present that you want to get back at him. Forgiveness is the hardest thing to do as a Christian because it goes against our sin nature but it is also the most rewarding thing that we can do as a Christian because it breaks our chains of bondage against our brothers and sisters.
Most Christians that I know are what I would call veteran Christians in the sense that they have had a long on going relationship with Christ those who have alot of need or need acceptance to feel good are usually our new belivers and those who have not yet grown in the spirit. Which unfortunately is a majority of people who call themselves Christians. I never once in my walk with God expect it to be easy as I am of flesh and blood and wil stumble and fall, face challenges and grow and learn.
I jusdge not lest I be judged in the same manner as I which I judge others. I am lead the by the Holy Spirit as who to pray for or am asked to pray in agreement with other Christians. God tells us to judge according to the scriptures and we are to only judge peoples actions because no man knows what another holds in his heart.

And your challenge has been long been met on my part as I have been making it a point in my life to do as least one good thing for over 10 years now. So yeah I think I can do 40 more days easily. The actions of a Christian will reflect the fruits of the spirit and the closer you are with God the more fruits are evident in your life. So I can see how you would see it as lemon juice as it would be very hard to do Gods will and walk in the way of the world and persecute Gods people.
I do not believe that Turning Point is asking it congregation to break the laws of the land or commit mass suicide. God already sent the ultimate sacrifice Jesus Christ. so someone who would kill themselves is saying that Christ death was in vain and more sacrifice was needed.
The fruit of the spirit can be like lemon juice in the eyes espcially to someone whos heart is not totally given over to God. It is hard to do God's will when we want to do our own, the fruit is evident in our actions.
A persons faith must be put in God alone and not in man as man will always fail you. Satan shall come as the Angel of light to seek and destroy. Test all scriptures God tells us. Waco and Jonestown they were listening to what a man told them not what God had told them this is the Satan posing as an Angel of light to people who had either no real walk with Christ or new believers who were easily swayed due to not having a good church community to support them.
I promise you will be greeted with love and concern for your soul as we welcome people of all backgrounds. God does not recognize us for skin color or birth right just that we accept that Christ died for our sins and confess with our mouth that Christ is Lord shall we be saved. Yes we all still sin but that is why Christ died to be our ultimate sacrifice so that God from heaven would look down through Christ, who's spirit lives in us, and see us sinless as there is no sin in Christ.
Just remeber this for every video you post we just pray harder so thank you for giving us the need to pray more you will not discourage us as we fear but only God himself and not any man. Without people in need as yourself we would have little need for prayer so again thank you for giving us hope of seeing God's miracles work in peoples lifes. I challenge you to actually come face to face with this church community and stop hiding behind the camera and voice your concerns.
You have a fighting spirit that just needs to be guided in the right direction so that you can stop wasting your talents on udeless bantor and strat using it they way God had intended you to use it. My great grandma always talked about how there used to be a cult in marysville in the 40's & 50's near the quil ceda casino.
Fucked up thing was, she said that alot of the "friendly" people, dentists, teachers, doctors, were all a part of it.

After being at Turning Point Church for over 3 years, I have found no such claim of having false prophets or apostles. They in deed walk what they talk and teach what they preach. It saddens me that the leaders of this cult are so effective at undermining young lives. It is brainwashing, period. It is ABSOLUTELY a cult because the pastor claims to be an "apostle" and the church elders "saints." They also discourage young people from attending college and blur the lines between church and state by holding services in PUBLIC schools. I live down the street from one of these schools and am disgusted every Sunday when I see my tax dollars supporting their services. Furthermore, how can I send my kids to public schools when I know they are at risk of indoctrination?

I didn't know they left the church, i haven't attended there in 2 years. and as for a church, to build one that would be big enough would be about 20 mill. and the last one i know they looked at buying 4 or 5 years ago was about 3 mill. i believe. And they do show where money goes, go to the yearly buget meeting and they hand it out to everyone who goes.

Ok as to Pastor mike being an apostle, he did not just decide he was one, in a prayer time God told him he was one but not to tell anyone, i think it was within one or 2 months after that one of the elders at the church and another leader at the church adressed him as such, and it was a slow process after that that people started to hear about apostleship and it was also spoken over him in another prayer time with another pastor as well.

It is not because God dosn't love some more, its just the way he has chosen to work. I've seen an elderly women 'allow' a con man to drain her lifes savings too, that doesn't make it right. The City is being conned to believe that your church doesn't covet the young, the weak and property. I do not believe that Turning Point is asking it congregation to break the laws of the land or commit mass suicide. God already sent the ultimate sacrifice Jesus Christ. so someone who would kill themselves is saying that Christ death was in vain and more sacrifice was needed.

God does not recognize us for skin color or birth right just that we accept that Christ died for our sins and confess with our mouth that Christ is Lord shall we be saved. Yes we all still sin but that is why Christ died to be our ultimate sacrifice so that God from heaven would look down through Christ, who's spirit lives in us, and see us sinless as there is no sin in Christ.

Just remeber this for every video you post we just pray harder so thank you for giving us the need to pray more you will not discourage us as we fear but only God himself and not any man. Without people in need as yourself we would have little need for prayer so again thank you for giving us hope of seeing God's miracles work in peoples lifes. I challenge you to actually come face to face with this church community and stop hiding behind the camera and voice your concerns.

You have a fighting spirit that just needs to be guided in the right direction so that you can stop wasting your talents on udeless bantor and strat using it they way God had intended you to use it. I know that your purpose of these videos is to try and make our minds wander off the true course of God's love but it actually makes us pray even more for you as we see the lost soul in you crying out for help.

I challenge you to one good deed a day for 40 days and do it with a willing heart and with love and compassion. And then look into the face of the people that you have helped and tell me that they are not greatful fo what you have done for them.

See you will never understand the heart of a true Christians as you obviously display no fruit of the spirit what so ever. A true Christian gives without thought of ones self a true Christian is a selfless person. It sadens my heart that you are failing to see what Christ can actually do for someone or a community.
People who have a true relationship with Christ seek out others in need and fill that need. Is it wrong to help omeone who has a need.
