I'm amazed they got away with that bombing bit in the first ep. it would have brough back memories of Bali

I guess so, but it's not like it was done in bad taste. Plus, bombing and terrorism in general is a serious issue in today's society, and I guess that's what they were trying to get across. Besides, would they omit gun battles because it would bring back memories of wars? Or asylum seekers because of the boat that sunk? I think everything would bring back a bad memory for someone in the world. I thought the first ep was handled pretty well anyway. But that's just my opinion. :)

I'm not trying to be smug or anything. Just thinking about it. We talked about the Bali Bombing issue on the Sea Patrol forums before the episode aired. A lot of people were concerned like you are. But I thought it was done fairly well.
