For the most part this guy is right but what he said about Oprah and that ignorant Secret thing she endorses, he forgot to mention about 14 minutes into his speech, Proverbs 23:7, "For as a man thinks in his heart so is he..." And as we compare that with the rest of Scripture, we find it isn't talking about creating reality (as only God can do), but with the fact that we become what we worship (Ps. 135:18). If you're a Christian you believe that Christ is head of His church (Eph. 4:15-16; Col. 1:18), and that the Holy Spirit teaches His church (Jn 14:26). This is why it is so helpful to be familiar with church history (God's history). If it is truth, it is an old Christian teaching, not new.

Thank you so much for posting this. I am from Texas and I used to work for some very famous evangelists that are now deceased. I saw many of these teachers listed pass through their offices daily. Most of them were nobodies then. I always thought that the teaching was odd and quit my job. This was many years ago and these teachers have gotten even more inaccurate in their teaching.

It's so easyo get sucked into this stuff because it sounds so sensational. I have had miraculous healings myself, however, I followed the Lord's teaching on healing in James 5:14-16. I didn't go to a "faith healer".

@eugioh99 first off, anyone who has even a BASIC knowledge of biblical greek and church history could refute you. hebrews 11, "faith is the hupostasis..." That word refers to confidence, assurance, or even a guarantee. When they translate the KJV the word they used was substance because that was how to say "assurance or confidence" in 17th century vernacular. It would (sort of) be like saying "He substantiated his claims".

This isnt about your state of mind. the context and language CLEARLY refers to someone who offers food to another and tries to look friendly, but is inwardly thinking about how much it costs. Here is the full verse. Also to the folks discussing repentence I didn't see the big on from ats 2:38 "Repent and be baptised for the Forgiveness of your sins so that you may recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit. Hmm forgiveness of sins in that is Repent. THerefore you must repent to have your sins forgiven. Example wil lbe if you did something wrong like kill someone do you get forgiveness and then say you are sorry? No you ask for forgiveness or repent then you are forgiven.

In acts it says God commands all people everywhere to repent, there are so many more. It is a must for salvation, Godly sorrow leads us to repentanc, the goodness of God leads us to repentance. It's contradictory to the bible to deny repentance for salvation.

Repentance is a work done by the Holy Spirit, it's not something we do. Saying it's not required for salvation is false teaching. It's in the bible read it. I don't give people the gospel of John, I give them the gospel, the whole gospel, which includes repentance of sin.

Does it say in the New testament that one must repent, yes or no?? the answer would have to be yes unless you are intentionally trying to take away from scripture. Acts 26:18-20, what does it say on v20? ...that they should REPENT and TURN to God, performing deeds appropriate to repentance.

Acts 17:30(LISTEN)- ....God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should REPENT.

I spent almost 10yrs under teachings of WoF. God started open my eyes on it about 8yrs ago. I used to propagate Hagin's books.. it was such a struggling- you try to be your own god, your own saviour with the power in your mouth. Grace is substituted by your positive confession. You become obsessed not to say anything negative.. WoF blames you when you stay sick or unsuccessful in you life.. You don't really need God any more, you need to believe and speak out.- exhausting live it is..

@jhnb1287672 No, the teaching here is sound because he is using scripture in proper context. In part three Justin clearly says he believes God can heal, but not in this fashion. Honestly, these preachers take people's money, make false claims that can't be backed by scripture, take scripture out of context, and actually encourage coveteousness and strife among brethren. God uses us because He is gracious, not that He needs us and we only know its His will if it lines up with scripture.
