Have you recommended using the Line Art layer ^^ It would make your lines not so wobbly & you could edit it at some parts you don't like. You should use the curve.

I agree like... When it comes to using SAI, do a rough sketch of your own images first and scan them or whatever. o w o But if you don't has a scanner... Then I dunno.

@TheKanonHara yeah its kinda hard sketching with the mouse, what i did was sketch the image using a pen, so that when i scanned it onto the computer you can see the lines better. then from that i line arted it usin paint tool sai, hope i helped :)

@TheKanonHara have you tried using a tablet, they're expensive but they're are real easy to get used to and once you do its alot of fun (its virtually impossible to control anything on a computer like a pen). Some people prefer mouses though its taste i guess.

and to answer your questions:

1 - i drew the picture with a pen first and scanned it on the pc with a scanner

2 - and if you type in "paint tool sai free download" into google im sure you can find how to get the software... or so i think xD

and 3 - of course you should try! and try again and again

drawing is something that you develop the more you practice, nobodys good on their first try. so if you do, you have my full support ^_^

You know, instead of erasing the lines like pen pressure, there's a lineart option that you can you the lines more thin or more fat :) Just do a line, then click the one Pressure, then there will be green points. Hold them, Move mouse to left to make it thinner and move mouse right to make it fatter xD

Uhm just as you know, it is a layer called lineart layer on sai. I think it is very helpful for you~ If you search on "paint tool sai lineart tutorial" or something i'm sure you will understand better.

and i did the lineart on sai

i just used the pen tool and used the eraser tool to rub of the tips so it made my lines look like it had pressure to it :)

and utauloid is basically your own custom made vocaloid, its a software that lets you create the 3d models n voices i think? im not too sure tbh since i havent looked into utauloids that much ^^"

i found a download link for it and got it free :P i think you can search youtube for it, theres a video that shows how to get it without using torrents ^^

@Txurniul well firstly, its practice and secondly if i did it via tablet then i would have thinner lines and pressure effetc, etc. also its not too difficult writing with a mouse, its just lines and shapes a lot like drawing, plus it wouldnt make much sense if i could draw neatly but write with a mouse untidyly. think that should be enough of an explanation to prove my point and clear things up for you :)

for an easier way you can make a linework layer, and there you can use a curve tool. after you're done with the lineart, you can change the pressure w/ the pressure tool C: hold left click + drag left = smaller. hold left click + drag right = larger.

You can do better than me on a mouse... That's why after a few attempts at 'art' I ended up quitting, and refusing to draw until I got a tablet (Which I luckily stopped a few days before my birthday and my kind Mother brought me one~) But anyway, it's really cute~

@HyunnieBear well i think that laptops would be better for smaller pictures like icons and stuff since you can draw the detail better but thats might not be the case for everyone,

however, i would stick with the mouse since you can do longer strokes in your drawings than you could with the touch pad of a laptop i use one of those infared mouses since my older mouse gives more wobbles,
