RE: William S. Burroughs ~ Doors/Morrison Unpublished Demo "Cancer City"
It's Burroughs reciting snippets from Jim's first-published poetry "The Lords and The New Creatures". My thinking here is that you
might be interested in using this Cancer City audio w/ same backing Doors musical track & Jim Morrison exultations as Everybody In. It is 2:47 in length & 3.19 mb.
Fuckin hell!! goosebumps!!

Rimbaud didn't lie about his death. He just got tired of writing poetry
and of his life in Paris and sought a life of adventure. Its pretty
amazing what an impact his poetry has left on the world considering
he was only 20 or 21 when he quit. Rimbaud's dream didn't last long
He died at 37.
Morrison was a genius as well. A true Existentialist.

Rimbaud lied about his death and left civilisation.
It was Morrison`s dream to do the same.
The poet`s dream of freedom......
For Morrison unfortunately, only a dream...

what is he saying at the end?

He refers to Jim Morrison as being under the magnificent influence of Rimbaud, a French poet from the late-nineteenth century.
