  • great pictures just unclear where to start the wire(through the middle of the ferrite or up the side) ,and with each winding does the wire come out the top of insulation to star the next winding so stays attached to each previous layer?? hope you can answer cheers.

  • Nope, on a trigger pulse transformer (oudin coil) the primary is last. Unless your making a interrupter induction coil (Ruhmkorff coil), in that case the primary is done first to drive the relay interrupter. Oddly enough though ruhmkorff coils used the be used to drive oudin coil's, common in old quack medical devices / Electrotherapy  or old automotive ignition systems.
