I am going to get a macbook soon but I will buy a mouse along with it should I get the magic mouse or the Logitech mx revolution ( the performance MX is too expensive for me) but the Magic mouse and the mx revolution are similar prices.

The fingerprints are putting me off already, i was hoping it would be oleophobic like the 3GS. I love gesture controls but i think i might go for the Mighty/Apple Mouse depending on my opinions after the 5 vids also i want to use it before a final say

thats what i thought, but i think its actually plexiglass or some form of plastic, its too light to be glass and if it was it would have a similar feel to the track pad on the macbook pros, but i am not sure 100%

yes, the glossy looks great i kinda like the matte feel. b/c after your hands get sweaty there's a lot of friction. just like the screen with the iphone i use the matte and i don't have to worry about friction and fingerprints. i hope companies will make a matte shield that will protect it from scratches, scuffs, better scrolling, and oil and smudges won't be as noticeable.

I wonder what it would be like if they used glass for the top of the mouse just as in the trackpads for the Mackbooks. Would that translate to better response for the gestures or would ppl be turned off by the idea of a glass mouse?
