parkour is non-competitive that means that traceurs do not compete in anything, even among themselves...competition ruins the spirit of parkour

@darkmurai123 I know that was over a year ago, but David Belle himself has admitted that competition between friends helps you progress.

For example, two traceurs want a precision done but are too scared, they'll try get it done first, if one gets it done the other will be more inclined to do it too. It's human nature, but doesn't make it a competitive sport.

@NFPKChris haha I don't think that progression in terms of skills in pk is the most important criteria to judge whether you should compete with your friends or not, respect for the art as well as the people around you should be more important. I rather not compete and not improve than to be pro-competition and ruin the art. competition breeds fear of your opponent's strength and doubt in your own. pk is anti-competition solely for the reason that it is not a sport where you train to be the best.
