  • This should be a commercial for Goldbond.

  • @cheesypasta - how about the fact that he is a part of the most elite special forces unit that AMERICA has. sounds pretty american to me. You must be one of those who speaks before they think.

  • We just made him our Hero of The Week on our channel.

  • KOBE ?

  • How many pairs of running shoes does this guy go through?

  • @mrmugge89 He runs in boots!

  • i love this guy

  • the dudes gay

  • gay

  • how could you even say something negative about the SEALs, our country, or Americans in general after watching this? if you have the mental toughness, as well as physical toughness that this guy does, then please step up and you have room to talk. all the rest of you...shut it

  • @Boomercougar You can do not like Americans for whatever reason, but you all guys have to admit - as a nation they have big balls! I don't like everything in USA, but I admire American people for toughness and creativity. Greetings from Poland!

  • @Boomercougar what the hell does this guy have to do with america.. what a dumb arse comment, he represents himself, not the rest of you. America is the most obese nation on the planet, and more than that, they voted Bush Jr in twice. get real

  • @cheesypasta "Quit hating and get to work" ~ George Washington

  • @cheesypasta Actually Australia is the most obese.

  • no protection on nipples? he's quite muscular and dude i got pain watchin this just thinking about running this amount of distance with this wet shirt rubbing your nipples! :D

  • fourty. eight. hours. of. running. non. stop...

  • I'll take a strategic man over a man who can run far any day of the week.

  • if God were to grant this guy a wish, my guess is he would ask for a bigger lung and more stamina.

  • @zhengarei If God were to grand this guy a wish, he would say, "Nah, God, I'm good."

  • I thought messengers at the past were unreal this man proves me wrong

  • this guy wins in a zombie apocalypse

  • HOOOYAH

  • @RyanMcL17 because they are jelly

  • this dude's an inspiration

  • @theshoden2004 all you need is to get your us citizenship. Don't have to be native born

  • i dont even drive that far lol

  • The crazy part is, he maintains a pretty big frame of muscle. Most endurance athletes are skinny bastards.

  • @c2conditioning They probably dont do push ups, pull ups and more like him...

  • I want that freaking pack

  • this guy is a fricken beast!

  • makes me want to join even more.

  • David Goggins for president!

  • Run Forest run!!!!

  • This is motivating, I need motivation badly. Every bit helps, so I'm thankful for this kind of stuff being online.. My life's mentally very hard and 99% of time I have to deal with it alone. I train my head to overcome problems and reach always new limits, only the physical part is hanging behind. So, still one hour left of today, not too late to DO something.. :)

  • I'm enlisting for the U.S Navy. This video encouraged me, wish me luck.

  • @TheMightySinnerHD good luck man!! Im jealous of you wish i could join the seals!!

  • Comment removed

  • @matdlaw11 im not american thats why i can join

  • @TheMightySinnerHD What rate are you going for?

  • @Trips25octo E1

  • @TheMightySinnerHD That's your rank. What's your Rate/MOS (job)

  • @Trips25octo Seaman

  • @TheMightySinnerHD Undesinated Seaman? Again Seaman is E-3 which is a rank. What's your rate? MA, HT, OS, SO, SB, EOD, ND ect.

  • @Trips25octo EOD

  • @TheMightySinnerHD Lol ok. Good luck. Are you in the DEP program right now?

  • @TheMightySinnerHD Why would you fight for oil? This video encouraged me to train for a marathon.

  • @pacemaker2point0 We fight for country's defense, not for oil. You sound like a person who only takes from the country but not give.

  • @TheMightySinnerHD I'd appreciate your country's efforts if you actually focused on killing terrorists, but that's not the case in Middle East. If you don't know anything about THE FACTS of how the Iraqi oil infrastructure was taken over...I feel bad for you. May God have mercy on your soul, get back healthy.

  • @pacemaker2point0 Yeah but that's not the point here. I joined the Navy for the greater good, and I look forward to become a SEAL, but as for now I'm going to be stationed in Hawaii. SEALs were established by J.F Kennedy for US defense and counter terrorism. If you wanna chit chat and argue about the situation in middle east, find the army guys or marines. Even though its not their choice to be there. My respect to all Soldiers !!

    - Rashid U.S Navy

  • @TheMightySinnerHD Risk your life and kill civilians ! good luck

  • @TheMightySinnerHD Good luck :)

  • @TheMightySinnerHD your signing up for the navy not the seals lmfao

  • @xpeacemaster I did already, looking forward to the SEAL challenge.

  • i just did my first olympic triathlon 2 days ago and that was insanely tough and only 31 miles i can't imagine 150 miles

  • How many calories does this guy burn every day?

  • who ever dislikes this video is a fucking homo!! its not discouraging. he is telling you what its like. it is fucking hard but can be done. this video along with some of his other ones should inspire you to not quit on yourself. because if you do you will NEVER know how far or long you could have gone!! YUTT!!!!!!

  • What's the point of living your life like this? He doesn't even sound like he's enjoying himself. I love to run, but I do so b/c I enjoy being in nature and connecting with her. My true motivation to run is this connection with Mother Nature, not running just for it's own sake. For me this gives the activity a deeper, more fullfilling purpose. By focusing too hard on the activity this guy is missing the purpose of his actions. I'm ready for negative comments now.

  • @Sherpaful

Goggins clearly explains why he does these things: to investigate his true limitations, not the kind that we impose on ourselves.

  • @Sherpaful It's the life of a great Marine !

  • @burtonteam

... how insulting. He's a Navy SEAL..not some lowly Jarhead.

  • @Sherpaful Come on man, every one has his own reasons, I run too, sometimes b/c I´m getting fat, sometimes b/c I just feel like doing it...it´s ok to have different reasons, the best thing is that, at the end of the day, you become healthier and feel a lot better with yourself...bye : )

  • @Sherpaful Well I don't want to be too negative b/c everyone has his/her own opinion. But he did sort of explian why he does it dude. Some people aren't enjoying themselves at all an less it is close to or beyond there limits. I'm sure he gets amazing feelings of connectedness when he challanges and surpasses those limits. Just a thought.

  • @Sherpaful - Good for you. David Goggins is a US Navy SEALs and also a runner for the Wounded Warrior project. So while you're "enjoying being in nature", he's training to save life and to run ultramarathons to get money for the children of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

  • We went to the same high school in Indiana

  • He runs 15 miles like it's nothing and 4 miles is my limit for now.

  • fuck you my idiot friend is always saying "like David goggins says know your limits and reach past them" for the most impossible things lol

  • lol "i go for a easy 3 or 4 mile run.." this guy is definition of machine haha

  • But hey i'm just another INTJ strategist, what do i know. If he's happy doing it good on him, but never think you're better than anyone else.

  • @DoLpH1983 I don't think he thinks he is better than anyone else. You are looking directly at his words and not looking at the meaning behind them. In everything he does he tries to push his limits and exceed a threshold. To die is to stop exceeding because you can no longer function. He wants to push himself past a previous barrier and to him, that is his definition of his existence. He is not saying "I did something that you couldn't, you are not on my level."

  • @DoLpH1983 He is saying "I did something I couldn't do before, I am on a new level." What he does is not pointless to him but it may be to you. Living is living in perception, and if he believes this is the way to live then that is life in his world. It just isn't in yours.

  • David says "nothing is impossible anymore", it is impossible for the human mind to exceed physical capability, to do so would result in death. When he figures that out he will put his extraordinary energy into something else.

  • Further to my last, The distance is irrelevant when constant "A" remains unchanged. Constant A = leaving it all out there. So if you ran 10 miles and LIAOT, this would be equivalent to running 150 miles and LIAOT. His strategical thinking is flawed and until he pushes himself to DEATH he will just be a wannabe Kamikaze. By finishing his races he is living a vicious cycle. He's a hell of an athlete but until he figures out why its pointless to run these races he will remain a grunt.

  • @DoLpH1983 David Goggins had a charity he founded himself.

    The "Special Operations Warrior Foundation".

Basically any family of a lost loved one in the Navy SEAL's gets support from the proceeds of the money he won in the race he does.

David is done now because he reached the million dollar mark.

He is someone i look up to and was not a paid athlete.

Not a dollar went to him or his family.

This man has a cause which you obviously are ignorant of.

    "Educate yourself before you criticize"

  • I'm an ex soldier, but its not for that reason only i understand why David has never achieved anything spectacular. In every event D claims to "leave it all out there" but in order to LIAOT you must fail to complete the race. If you complete and do star jumps on the finish line you NEVER LIAOT. D has not understood that in order to test human limitation he would have to push himself to the physical limit of endurance which is DEATH, until then the body is always capable of more.

  • A fine example of what a person can achieve when they stop making excuses for why they can't and start showing that they can.

  • your right. most people can't do what he can, he never once says they can. he was simply expressing that ANYBODY can push themselves past the limits they think they have, which is a fact. he also never claimed to have a "doctorate in performance and exercise" but what he has achieved in his life makes him pretty knowledgeable in running and limits. and i am grown up. pretty sure the only one that has made an ignorant comment is you "you must not know anything about running or the human body"

  • this is why i believe that Navy SEALs are the best special forces in the world.......hands down

  • An amazing individual. Motivated by the desire to achieve excellence and serve his country. There are many like him in our military and that is why it is the best in the world. Keep pushing the limits David.

  • Does anyone know the music in this trailer? It's the same as the Tharp one. Thanks.

  • He's a SEAL and runs these marathons to raise money for fallen soldier's children to go to college, you might think he's crazy or obsessed but when you're tested in combat you will find that there are some reasons to push yourself beyond the limits that you previously thought you couldn't pass.

  • I fuckin love this guy

  • AMAZING VIDEO, INSPIRED ME

  • I love this guy!

  • Amazing.

  • Someone with that type of ablilty to run that long, has to eat healthy on a daily basis right?

  • @CGBeatz Sure, but i think you are underestimating the human body, if you run like this, your body will let you know if you are eating right or not by how you respond.

  • @CGBeatz Definitely need to be healthy, but more importantly you need to make sure you eat the proper amounts of long-term energy (fat-calories) and short-term energy.. albeit that the short-term energy sources are useless in his situation. He probably eats a ridiculous amount of calories per day.

  • Those who know David -- know that he hates running. Dude is awesome!

  • I understand he is trying to find his limits and go past it. But it seems like he has done that and is now obsessed which doesn't lead to a healthy, balanced life.

  • this guy just motivated the shit outta me. some days my 3 mile runs seem long. this video just slapped me across the face.

  • @lusthateenvy Ya, I got the message 3 weeks ago. 2 workouts a day plus a 3 mile walk. A walk because Im 56.

  • I think he is inside my closet. But I am too scared to look. He scares me!

  • Goggins is so inspiring, what an incredible man.

  • yup the only easy day was yesterday

  • Who would dislike this video other than some America hating pathetic individual. This guy is motivated and an absolute phenom. I wish I could shake his hand because now I am going to push even harder..

  • The one guy who disliked this video needs to be backhanded across the face.

  • By any chance does anyone know the name of the background song?

  • excellence is an attitude

  • Have you ever thought of trying the race across america cycle race?It is said to be the ultimate endurance event.

  • Running for 48 hours straight

    O_O

I'd be surprised if I can manage 48 seconds straight XD

Dayum I need to start excersising...

  • my wife ran an ultra marathon after 3 kids working part time also on a very limtied budget 75 kms thru rolling gravel hills

anyone can do things such as this if they are dedicated...but this guy is something special

  • I feel bad for this gentleman, as someone who has struggled with an exercise addiction I know that you need to balance your workouts with just living real life. No balance = No enjoyment = No Reason to go on other then pain.

  • @johncliffordtaylor

You're incorrect. In several videos, Goggins outlines the reasons he competes in these events.

  • running in a desert in NWU PANTS!!!! nuff said

  • why isnt he in the US Olympic team WTF???

  • why isnt he in the US olympic team WTF???

  • @crAzeeHYPEbeast Because he's a fucking SEAL

  • @Arbiter92592 no shit sherlock i mean after he gets out

  • @crAzeeHYPEbeast There's no comparison.

  • the crazy thing is he ran all the way to this desert from his house haha

  • @86Jhard - Hahahahaha

  • lots of respect to david goggins

  • This guy is awesome.

  • When it's TOUGH out there....I'm always thinking about this guy. REAL inspiration, many thanks to him

  • I used to live this life, and this mind-set is powerful within the human body: unfortunately I almost died, and had to stop. I have never been able to go back, but maybe from the words of this one man I can go back without going "too far."

  • Very good!.....but please think on the possiblility of a twisted ankle, a snake bite or who knows what other perils in the middle of nowhere.......Who is going to help you?

  • @nestore70 - The guy who's holding the camera watching him run.

  • I don't even know what to say, so I'll quote xdx1990, Dude, you kick ass at life.

  • This guy kicks ass at life.

  • When I make it to a SEAL team. I want this guy on my team.

  • man. this thing gives me shivers.

  • I could beat his ass... Jk

  • This guy motivated me to start running long distance!

  • This guy motivated me to start doing long mile runs!

  • i found my new goal in life..run with this guy....fuck

  • forrest gump... eat your heart out!

  • i bearly get in a 1.5m in a day...

  • motivation to me

  • yeeeeeah boi! that shit is insane. what a fucking beast

  • man that takes a hell of allot mental strength not just endurance, this guy is a super human!

  • i'm choking with 50 miles per week....hats off to you!

  • Comment removed

  • Goggins is Badass with a cap B

  • im gonna be that guy

  • inspiration

  • This is incredibly inspiring and ridiculously discouraging at the same time.

  • It only seems discouraging because it seems so impossible, but in reality its really not. It can be done.

  • @LAFD08 you must not know anything about running or the human body. but thanks for the worthless advice.

  • @rangerdoorknob- how does he know nothing about running? he's a navy seal and he's training for an IRON MAN.

  • @masonrudyg To tell people that every single person can do what the SEAL in the video does by having the proper motivation is a blatant fn lie. Don't be nieve. It's simple science and human physiology: it is anatomically IMPOSSIBLE for the majority to do what the guy in the video does. LAFD's background as a SEAL or an athlete does not give him the right to portray otherwise. Last I checked they didnt hand out Doctorates in Performance and Exercise after BUD/s. Grow up kid.

  • Dude he's just a human

  • You are only defeated when you let yourself be.

  • @John031989 Former Marine here who was just a nerd in high school and wanted to see if he could make it through boot camp. You can do anything, you just have to believe in yourself and be realistic

  • ABSOLUTE BEAST

  • A good inspiration!
