Ah I love things to be clean also - its not just the fact of them being clean - its the respect that you prove you have to that environment by making sure everything in it is kept in its best condition (via the cleaning).

Plus I think its easier to have clearer thoughts when your space is well ordered and clean. :)

Funny you should mention the windows. I cleaned windows last week and in one weeks time the back door is covered in little bitty boy hand prints and dog snot! LOL The boys play outside allll the time, but that is where they come inside from and instead of opening it with the handle they plant their hands right on the glass and slide it open. LOL

If I don't have a juicer (soon though!), can I just blend the dandelion greens and then strain out the with a sieve? Any other Dan-aholics out there that don't have a juicer have any tips?

@psylent777 Yeah you could do that. what I did was some of the wild greens dandelion and nettles where a little hard on the juicer(nettles with small stems) so i blended it up. its better if you add some kind of sweet juice like apple and then blend em up. maybe you could try some raw honey and lemon

@engalnabinada That makes sense, if you tried to blend just greens you'd probably run the risk of not having any liquid to blend properly. The produce place just down the street from me just got a shipment of dandelion greens... Got to go and get myself some!

@psylent777 Before I had a juicer I used the vitamix to blend everything, then squeezed it through a nut milk bag. Time consuming and messy, but it works.

@SueMoseley I actually use nut milk bags to make nut milk once in a while... So I suppose that I could do the same with blended greens. Most of the time I take Dan's green juice recipes and just leave them unfiltered and call them green smoothies instead hehe. Any recommendations on a low-rpm juicer?

@psylent777 I have the Omega VRT and it is excellent. If I was buying again I would go for the Omega VRT HD which is meant to be more hard wearing. Is it so easy to clean compared to a centrifugal juicer and being low rpm the juice is more nutritious. I juice all sorts of veg and fruit with it including leafy greens, which it will pull through itself without using the plunger. The only time it jammed was when juicing carrot greens. If I juiced them again I would cut them up first.

A window sponge and a squeegee and clear water and a clean towel is the most gratifying way to clean the windows. it is a meditation of a sort. Dan you have brought so much peace and inspiration into my life. I am grateful for all that you have experienced and how honestly your spirit flows into beautiful expression of the divine. Today i collected dandelion greens and stems and am having it in my lemon ginger blast today!

@09fajita, they broke up quite a while back. I feel for Dan. He only wants to share his thoughts on healing the mind, body and spirit but with that comes the price of the curious human nature. :)

The oldest man in the world died recently at 114. He left a few pieces of advice for longevity. One was "all change is good" - funny because that is what Dan tells us all the time. The world is perfect just the way it is.
