  • Possibly the most useful video I've found so far. Thanks for sharing. ATB

  • So which one works better as a belt knife? The ESEE 4 or ESEE izula?

  • It''s turned out to be a great knife and addition to my kit. I like it alot better than my

coldsteel recon bowie. The esee fits in my pack alot better . I can see wy you miss it.

    thanks again Kevin

  • Great video.Trevor.It's videos like yours that got me back outdoors.

And I wanted to tell you the esee 6 I won from you has worked out great ,I have used it as my primary knife with an esee 4 as back up . your system is close to the same that my Dad taught us as young kids . keep up the good work .Kevin

  • @klkelton Awesome! I'm glad its working out for you! I do kind of miss it though.. LOL

  • Great info, keep up the good fight! You are helping people by sharing what you know. We appreciate it.

  • Great vid and good ideas. You should assess your situation first and formulate a plan of action and maybe consider rescue or escape before shelter. If rescue is not plausable then shelter may be next but there are so many variables to consider. Survival is a thinking mans game and not just a pat set of steps to follow. You were well prepared and could probably survive for many days with all that gear. I really like your style and am glad I found your channel. Keep up the good work!

  • Trevor, what kind of a poncho is that. I have not seen one with ties on the ends / or the silver inside, which I assume is like an emergency blanket. Basically asking where someone could get one from. Thanks for the awesome vid. good back to basic's issue...

  • The first thing I do is open my GPS and change the batteries.....Hehe...Just kidding. Good to see you back on the tube. Actually, out here in the east it seems like population density the way it is you can hardly go anywhere where you can even get lost anymore. It seems like if you walk a mile in any direction you stumble into someones backyard.

  • Great video, good info to think about. Even if you think you know these things it is always great to reinforce it. When you need it you do not want to try and remember, it is in your mind. We can always learn from some elses expirience, Thanks. Subbed your dad's channel and he did a great job on the video, his dog is cool. Take care and have a great day.

  • Outstanding vid Trevor! I'm alwYs happy to see one of your vids pop up in my subscription box :D

  • @BeigarthTV No it is not illegal here in the US. I also have my concealed weapons permit, which allows me to carry my firearm out of sight.
