I see what you mean, but the root of the problem is different. Here are some simple examples:

1) In Samtskhe-Javakhk province Armenians are majority, but the Governor of the province always is a Georgian and (attention!!!) there are ZERO Armenians in his office? Why is this so? How is that related to the Armenian Diaspora?

2) In Akhaltskha or Tsalka regions the Armenians are about 50% of the poputlation, but there are ZERO Armenians in local managers Why is this so?

The reality is, and Armenians very well know it among themselves, they classify their ethnos in two groups - the "Eastern Armenia", as they say, and the "Western Armenia" .

There are the "Armenians of the Diaspora" and the "Armenians of Armenia" - one group hates the other. The mistrust and jelousy is so prevalent among these two groups that the frequent conversations of Armenian of Armenia mega-user BeautySavesWorld with the diaspora Armenians on YouTube are a great testament to that.
