Those stories were made up by copying ideas and plot lines from many other religions. Anybody who takes the time to research this could tell this is obvious. Secondly, You fail to fully understand the theory which explains the likely origin of life. So the real choice is unoriginal fiction or a logical science backed by evidence.

Atheism is the anti-religion. It does not presuppose any god exists, but does have a predisposition to vehemently opposing any thoughts to the contrary. @bazzvy I would agree that the probability of them being Christian is very high. Using the "N-word" is a derogatory word to describe a person, whereas calling someone Christian is defining them by their faith. While it may still be considered by some to be derogatory, it is not as offensive as you are making out. I would also put forward that if they are Christians that have never stopped to question why they believe what they do, when there is very little evidence to support their beliefs.

If people however were pressuring me to collect stamps, spend a good chunk of my money on them, were expecting me to make my life choices based on the Philatelist's Guidebook 1611 and in some cases threatening my life and livelihood for not partaking in their hobby, I would have good cause to make a public point about my not collecting stamps, and it still wouldn't make it a hobby.

Atheism is the anti-religion. It does not presuppose any god exists, but does have a predisposition to vehemently opposing any thoughts to the contrary. What I love is how so many assert their superiority by quoting the genius of others, (or misquoting it) simply because they have no genuine contributions of their own. Of course, it is equally humorous to watch theists go ballistic over total BS. Personally I don't care, If there is a God, I guarantee you don't have a clue what he has to say.

If an alien came to "earth and saw" an office, with a chair, a lap top and technology, he would no doubt believe intelligence was present at some time in that room, without knowing what human is.
If technology is easy compared to designing life, then, me being in this world and watching all life forms, an advance designed was present as well. But assuming your intelligent, I will assume that chance and random mutations will do your homework for you, so don't bother doing your work.

By then the Catholic Church was created by Emperor Constantine. Using the "N-word" is a derogatory word to describe a person, whereas calling someone Christian is defining them by their faith. While it may still be considered by some to be derogatory, it is not as offensive as you are making out. I would also put forward that if they are Christians that have never stopped to question why they believe what they do, when there is very little evidence to support their beliefs.

@akanathan "Atheism is a religion" is the same kind of logic that says "God is love". It means nothing. It devalues the definitions of terms that should mean something to people subscribe to them. I'd take more time to write a better response, but I have to go get ready for non-church.

@akanathan Sure, if stamp collecting was as it is now. If people however were pressuring me to collect stamps, spend a good chunk of my money on them, were expecting me to make my life choices based on the Philatelist's Guidebook 1611 and in some cases threatening my life and livelihood for not partaking in their hobby, I would have good cause to make a public point about my not collecting stamps, and it still wouldn't make it a hobby.
