In movie theaters the shorter the better since they get to have more presentations in one day, On TV is quite the contrary, the larger the better since they get to pass more commercials. Because you had no HUD, Carl, Hayes, Ann and Jimmy were in your care and whenever they were in danger that scary ringing noise played, and no matter what you're incredibly outmatched in the jungle. I would've liked to see Kong looking at people in the new york buildings when he was climbing! As for Jack Black's Character, it was O.K. for them to make him shifty but they over did it! We should have felt more empathy for him, (He Didn't have to be exactly like the original 1933 character but maybe after Kong escaped he could of had a scene where he was a bit remorseful about bringing Kong to N.Y,, Then his Last line in the movie would have been more heart felt! Oh Well, it is what it is.

Don't get me wrong, I did like this movie but if it was more thought out and edited down it would have been a classic instead of just a good movie! Here's a few things I would have done! Eliminate most of the Jamie Bell and the captain stuff! Really, at the end you can't even tell if the boy survived or not! (It was very weak) Add a bit more to Jack and Ann's Romance on the Boat scenes instead! Make the Erroll Flynn Movie Star Character less of a hero and Have Kong step on him at the end! >>

Jackson should have kept this scene and trimmed down Jacks underwater scene to make it more believable! in the Bug Pit scene I think Jack would have got hit or skimmed by at least one bullet when the boy was shooting the bugs off of him, ( Jamie Bell even had his eyes closed while firing at them) it would have been more realistic and made more sense beside it would add more drama! Too Much of the A-Team stuff happened in this film. Dangerous situations not equal to fatalities = Cartoon Kong

They should have kept this in the movie, but deleted the stupid dinosaur chase scene. Not a bit believable or scary, just CGI gone mad. Ridiculous stunts that just got ridiculouser. Why do they have to go so over the top? The underwater scene of this needs erasing too, just plain not-believable. Keep the rest though, much more powerful than a cartoon dinosaur stampede.

the size of those scorpi-pede thingies is sensible. they could have never made that size of that in the game, even if there were ALOT more prehistoric oxygen lvl's on that island, bugs would most likely grow to a maximum of that size. (perhaps a few inches longer or bigger on others though)
