Hey Everybody! I have just released my new album 'Unhinged' which is inspired by great games such as the Resident Evil series. You can stream or download the full album for free on my youtube channel!
@redude77 I like it personally. Its meant to reflect what is left of the zombies mind since this is the first time youve seen one in a while. So its meant to be a cacophonous mess as per a zombie's mindstate.
I appear to have the only DC in existence that contains the music from the original release. Whats up with that? Because my copy will play, but its badly scratched up, but if I get a replacement its gonna have this crappy music instead of the original score. >=(
@Kuson2 The original Director's Cut had the original music. This soundtrack was added in the Director's Cut Dual Shock version, which...well, added Dual Shock support. You probably have the original DC I imagine, so just buy that one and you will be fine. I think it's on the PSN if you have a PS3.
@pooman2278 Oh ok, thanks for the clear up, cause I hate this music (Dualshock edition) It just kills all the feeling for me. And ya got a PS3 but I think it still might have the newer tracks like above. I'll research. Then again, for collecting purposes, I might want all versions at some point. ;)
This song sounds mindless and stupid, which reminds me of dumb zombies. To me, it describes what goes through a zombie's thoughts XD Kind of creepy to think that that's what goes through their mind.... and it's fnny as well haha
the first time i heard this i though there was something wrong with my game, i can't beleive its actually a real game music, man this makes me laugh so much every time i hear it
Being a long time Resident Evil fan I will stick to the original games soundtrack some of the tracks in the directors cut such as this one are just terrible!.
To be honest I don't think either track is all that great. Both tracks definitely have a different mood though. The original track gives more of a feeling of fear with a more slower moodier feel. This track gives you more of a "something is not right" feeling and is more intense. Kind of like a mischievous and scary feeling together. I can understand where the composer was going with this track and I think he nailed it. But the problem is that it doesn't sound very attractive or good.
It sounds like a drunk composer... banging on a keyboard made to sound like a trumpet... I still make fun of this XD I never liked this area though... O.O
I think the only reason they used this is because they were being lazy, and you only spend about 50 seconds in the basement, so they thought "Who cares"?
Look, different strokes for different folks. I'm just saying that the music doesn't exactly strike a creepy chord. There really wasn't an emphasis on terror or horror here. Maybe they were going for bizarre, but it certainly isn't scary.
Compared to "Narrow and Close" this track really is inferior to the original. Gizmo is right on this one.
@RJT0123456789 Touche. Like I said, however, different strokes for different folks. My opinion is that the DC version is horrible by comparison of "Narrow and Close."
A lot of people think this song is retarded (and it's not like I wouldn't easily see why). But this song, to me, reminds of like how you can have a nightmare that would sound utterly retarded if you told it to someone else but you felt it to be horrifyingly scaring in your nightmare nonetheless.
Actually, I thought this music was creepy. You peeps has no recognition for that classic feel. You're too spoiled with that high class crap to see it.
