Though Ravikiran sir's father and guru would argue that he could get any child to recognize ragas talas and compositions as long as he was given sufficient time. He invented a whole bunch of techniques only for this purpose. He got all his children and his nephew Chitraveena Ganesh sir to identify hundreds of ragas and talas at 3-4 years of age.

If anything it shows that Carnatic Music can be made so easy to learn that even children can understand, provided one spends dedicated time for it.

I completely agree with you on this matter like using the original acoustic instrument and using ebony wood instead of teflon as the slide.
