And one of the best scenes to. I just find it so emotional when George is crying on that bridge and then screams out in faith. I am a boy, I am Jewish and every year I watch this on December 25 hold back tears in front of my family, go to my room and close my door, watch this and have a good old laugh while tears stream down my face

This is one of three movies (Jurassic Park and Super 8 being the other two) that actually brought me to tears and you can call me a pussy or a wimp or a girl, I think being able to cry is the true measure of a man so Happy Holidays and remember every life has a purpose!

I can not believe this flopped at the Box Office. It is one of the best movies of all time. It was made forty four years before I was born and it is still one of my favorites. I had the privledge to know Todd Karns (Harry Bailey). His yougest daughter (Julie) was my best friend in the early 70's. He was a wonderful and fun father and man. I'll always have this great memory of him. Watching him in this movie every year gives me such joy and my tears mean more than most. Thank you Mr. Karns...I'll never forget you.

This is quite simply the best movie ever made. It is Capra's darkest movie, it is Jimmy Stewart's darkest movie (other than his Hitchcock films). There never has been nor will there be, a movie that can bring me to tears without fail like this one does. THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!

One of my favorites. Bit of perspective. James Stewart made this film after he returned from serving in the military during WWII. He was a B24 bomber pilot & served on numerous dangerous missions deep into Germany. He received numerous medals/decorations for his bravery during the war. After the war he was in the Reserves & retired with the rank of Brigadier General. So when you see the "tough guy" actors, here was the real deal, a true American hero. He never flaunted it. A "Wonderful" man.
