I love the oil museum!!!! I've worked East Texas oil fields for the last 2 years.... but i went to this museum on field trips through out my school years at Arp ISD always very fun!
My grandfather was one of the original East Texas oil wild catters and he lived in Kilgore until he died at the age of 92. Some of his tools are in the museum. It makes me so proud and honored to visit this historic place. Some of my fondest childhood memories were spent in Kilgore.
