  • uhm basically....uhm basically....uhm basically!!! this would make a great drinking game!!!

  • Over 6000 songs and 20+ hours of pointless research. Guess I'll just keep using my girlfriends laptop to sync my tardPod with itunes

  • Ah mmidas is right...all this blabla, was the external drive free or what..

  • Umm basicly what he's trying to say is:

    1. Go to iTunes folder and copy the entire thing over to another hdd/usb/external hdd/network hdd or whatever storage device you have.

    2. Install iTunes on new PC/Mac and open the program once and then close it again.

    3. Paste entire backed up iTunes folder into the newly created iTunes folder.

    4. There you have it. Now you can re-open iTunes and have all your stuff back again !!!

  • Thanks Josh Wettering for the video, it was helpful. I have suggestion as many people commented on your speech, which I felt was not appropriate. You might want to have a look at @ StevesMacFix video channel. Do check the tools used too for the video making. Cheers :)

  • once we do this,if we put new songs on to the itunes will those songs be gone into the music>itunes?????????? or should we do the same thing again like itunes>file>library>organize library and click the option consolidate file then ook. which one to do when we put new songs on itunes libaray???????

  • @rajeshhbk7 If you are simply copying (transferring from a flash drive, external hard drive, copying from a different location on your computer, dragging on a file into your iTunes library), then you will need to consolidate your iTunes library to ensure those files stay in your itunes library. If you are importing from a music cd, then you will not need to consolidate the files.

  • how to cook rice?

  • can i just get all the music folder and put them manually to the iTunes folder?

  • @gamergrounds yes you can, but you will have to manually create the directories and folders for all of them, which could take quite some time. It's easier to just drag the songs you want into your iTunes library and consolidate the files.

  • @JoshVandeWettering lol you would love my music library I have all the music in genres and artist I have done it all manually lol the problem is that I only have 20 gb left in HD and my collection is over 120 gb

  • i'm trusting you with 1000 songs, just saying....

  • Thnx
