I totally understand. FF8 was so classy, and the card game totally hooked me. I think I played the card game more than the game game easily, because you never knew if you'd ever get the chance to play people on different gardens again, so you went around playing everyone. I loved this song, like the top comment it's wired into my blood stream. Everytime I hear this, I get a sudden urge to gamble at poker or black jack. Lol.

The only games in my opinion that hold a candle to Final Fantasy VIII(in my opinion) are Parasite Eve,Chrono Trigger and Xenogears(not to be confused with Xenosaga,which was a pretty cool game in its own right also)

I'm probably just getting old(27 now),but i can't help but feel like the games of this generation just seriously suck ass. They lack any creativity and depth to story or characters.

For the most part it's just graphical Eyesores and nothing more than that.

@Lance241151 Believe me, its not you getting old XD 15 here and I've noticed the sudden drop in actual quality of games. Companies are just trying to make eyecandy and appeal to a generation that likes cool looking stuff. The older games are SO much better then some of the new stuff. But then again, you have those cool new games every once in a while

Yeah,I've got the impression most companies now are just trying to make eye candy and nothing more,for the most part. Some game companies are still trying there best to make games that aren't shit though. Like Bioware makes excellent games and we definitely can't forget Bethesda.

Square has REALLY changed for the worse though. When they were SquareSoft,they were awesome,but as SquareEnix their games are mediocre now.

@Wheelyramp I was able to buy the full set off Ebay,auction style about a week after you left your message. It was an expensive $960.00,but so worth the purchase. I'm a huge FFVIII fanatic and just looking at the cards brings back good memories of the game. I'd wish they made them in the states,but I'm not really complaining. I'm just glad they made the cards at all.

I remember the first time i played Triple Triad when i was a kid i HATED IT,then tried it a year after again and LOVED it. lol

i agree with @itsgk Blitz was kinda fun but too simple once you got jecht shot or god forbid jecht shot 2 but triple traid was fun as hell and extremely addicting (and also very frustrating) theres nothing more annoying than the random rule in this game though (unless your not going for all cards just all rares) you get 4 bite bug cards and laguna against their quezolcolt eden edea cid and seifer have fun!
