  • 4 weeks of basic training?!!! lucky bitches! lol

  • 12.30 the English national hymn. Why??Are they working for Great Britain or what?

  • I have a lot of respect for these ladies. They were essential in WW2 but didn't get the praise and appreciation they deserved.

  • Army nurses= the strongest and most caring women in the military!

  • @SaoirseBonnieLass tough as nails

  • @SaoirseBonnieLass I'm not an army nurse and don't really plan to be at the moment, but all women have that instinct to take care of people. Even if it's not so apparent in some women, that instinct is there. But if I lived in the '40s I would certainly be a part of it. :)

  • I'm at Johns Hopkins in the ROTC program training to graduate as an Army Nurse:] and lol - I love how at one moment they say the nurse is working to save the man's life, and she's lighting a cigarette for him to smoke! XD

  • @rosebloodfaerie It was a different time. Soldiers were provided with cigarettes along with their uniforms.

  • this is what i want to do when i get out of college

  • Oh , I would have loved to be an army nurse back in World War II ! Except , I was not born back then and even if I wanted to right now my parents wouldn't let me . :(
