@katey1dog The US company GE designed and built that plant for them. They built a lot of US plants, too. WE need to think alternate energy. (Also, nuclear power plants use a form of steam power. Steam produces no power itself, I think you may mean coal power. When water is heated and expands, it can drive turbines or pistons, which in turn drive dynamos to create electricity.
