the storyline is superb~ even if puzzles isn't of your taste, it is worth it just for the story (;~ just keep your hint coins nearby (or ahemwalkthrough) if you're really stuck.

Then you obviously aren't English, and have probably never heard an English accent before. Professor Layton's was acceptable in the 1800's. As for the others... my god... They sound like they has something in the back of their throat... like a mace. Those voice actors... The worst thing is that we don't get it dubbed for the UK. We get the same game as the US, even though the rest of Europe will have it dubbed in their language and because of that, even the UK will get it 6 months after the US.

It is true. They are not true British acccents. They are stereotypical British accents, not an accurate representation.

I still like Layton's voice, still. I still think some of the older accents sound a lot better than the modern ones, but that's just me. I'm old fashioned sometimes, you see.
