  • Utterly hilarious listening the the techno babble from the 20 handicappers on here.

Just play the game.. it is a natural sport... stop analysisng... and do what feels natural.

  • Hey guys, please come check out my channel and subscribe if you like it. I make course vlogs in the bag, and more.

  • Mashed potatoes!!!!!!

  • Found 3 things today to make me a better golfer!!

    1. Tiger Woods slow motion golf swing video

    2. GrooveSharpener. com---golf tool for more backspin

    3. And now this video

  • @GoodGolferMan i'll give you another.... hold the club loosely and relax your body, swing a club freely a few times making it swoosh as loudly as you can and try to brush the grass without worrying about positions or swing plane....now put a ball down and make exactly the same swing not thinking about hitting the ball...now enjoy the sweetest contact ever!!!!

  • Dustin Johnson is the man... he has a few majors on the way and is defiantly going to be a guy we talk about in 2012 I think.

  • i like the little driver twist he does before hitting. good job with the vid

  • the sound of that first drive is intoxicating!

  • What is amazing is that he can keep the club on plane, since most would get way laid off from bowing the left wrist like that. Second, that he still has the wrist flexibility (ulnar deviation) to create plenty of lag in his swing even with all that bowing (palmer flexion). That is simply not something most could make work.

  • shut is ok as long as the release is delayed

  • He has a very open stance

  • I love the power this guy gets, like he was driving 350 yards at the British Open, that's just scary...

  • I think your will be proven wrong mr pga pro.... what does history teach us? Nancy Lopez? Lee Trevino? Arnold Palmer? How many wins do they combine? All "shut-top" (plane line SQUARE!) players :)

  • This guy has a dozen majors in him if he gets that CRAP position at the top fixed (it's easy) he is DEAD SHUT........and most likely none if he does not.......

    Steve Wozeniak PGA

  • @stevewozeniak think butch harmon knows more than you champ

  • @dbs0212 I agree with you guys. There's a bunch of ways to play this game great if you understand your style and how to repeat it. Steve is just trying to stir up traffic to his site. I'll probably delete the comment this week. Don't need the negativity on my channel.

  • @stevewozeniak If your from the PGA surely youve heard this before, he is shut because of his bowed wrist which him and his coach decided not to mess with because hes been swinging like that his whole life. You should also know when people mess with their swing (like tiger) they almost always play worse.

  • Really?? PGA huh?? This guy is one of the most consistent players on tour with his "CRAP" position at the top mr. PGA... how are you doing?? Let's just say he knows that he has great probability in being consistent because he doesn't open his club face and then try to square it that mili second before impact.. instead it's just square the whole time.. This guy is good!! also, go look at vids of Arny palmer and you'll know that he does this as well!

  • Nice upload.

  • Incredible slow-mo!

  • @XtremeTactical5 thanks ... got lucky to be in the right place when Dustin's group came through. With the crowds you can't always get the camera angle you want.

  • @hermanwilliamsgolf I've studied Dustin's swing a lot. One thing that has greatly helped me get some "effortless" power is copying the way he swings down. It is as if the top of the left arm and the chest are connected together almost all the way down until the very bottom of the swing. I've tried it, it doesnt hurt and it seems to add some good speed right at the bottom of the swing. Hips pulling all the way down but that arm stays connected to the chest all the way down. Make any sense?

  • @birdienfool Nice description. He literally just pins the left arm to his chest with the club behind him and spins his core 'til it slings the club into the ball. The styles he uses depends on having the face already closed in his backswing - not much need for timing a release of the clubface. So all you need to do is drop the club behind you or to your side, keep your right elbow tucked and turn left. Sounds like you have it figured out.

    Good luck.

  • @birdienfool nice observation. that probably does help in creating a sord catapult at the end. i'm going to try that on the range. I have gotten into bad slices over the past couple weeks and losing osme yards.

  • @birdienfool

    nope

  • @hermanwilliamsgolf Amazing how much suppination he has in that left wrist, just like Hogan!!
