Was at Live Aid, and had tix to see Dire Straits perform at Wembley Arena the night after. Ended up feeling so fucked after a sleepless night the night before that I and my partner had to return home after Live Aid. Felt completely gutted I have to say.

Nobody can play the guitar quite like Mark can; he just makes it look so effortless. It's really a shame that he's not up to the idea of a reunion tour, I'd be all over that.

Mark has said that the reason he broke up Dire Straits was because they had gotten "too big". He hated playing huge arenas and felt like he was losing touch with his audience.

Wembley 85 was great.

He used to play quicker in the 80´s than in the 90´s up.

Schecter strato was one his best but I love the Pensa MK1.

Different sounds. His Schecter sound much more better than his Fenders.
