Gates pointed out that black people have characteristics in their bodies making them more prone to being hurt in a chokehold. How's that different from an episode of MASH (Alan Alda a big influence on that show) in which "negroes" were more to be harmed by a disease than whites? You hate the messenger, not the message.

A 20 year old kid died after the chokehold was applied. Never mind the kid was high on drugs. Is a cop supposed to succomb to an idiot under the influence of PCP or is he/she expected to use "reasonable force" to control the situation? PLEASE ....tell me how racism figures into this tragedy.
