@buckwill48 Klimov M-100 was a licence-build French Hispano-Suiza 12Y engine as of year 1935 and rated at 850 Hp, but Klimov M-105 which was a derivitive of Hispano-Suiza 12Y, but had two stage supercharger and more advanced valve train and was rated at 1100Hp as of year 1940, and power was also increased to 1360Hp for Yak-3 engine variant. Klimov M-105 was also the most proliferated engine of Soviet WWII era aircraft.

@3DBlockBuster seater...What is it? It is double Yak-3? Yak-3 never had two places, even in a squadron Normandy Neman..... It is a hybrid or a transformer, but anything has the present with Yak-3 though it is very similar.
@Vanyaaynav BTW suffix "U" meant in Russian language "Uchebnie" which mean training aircraft, and usually a two seater with dual controls for new pilot and instructor.
the exhaust note actually sounds like athe allison or rolls engine more than the klimov which i heard was copy of hisso,

Yak-7 was a two seater and it was designed and build as a trainer before Yak-3 and Yak-9, and pilots from Normandy Neman flew Yak-7.
Anyhow, if you click on the link under this video, it will explicitly explains how this Yak-3 become a Yak-3U. ;)
