  • Helo i need a kit for my car and i hope tel me what market i buy this kit and haw money they are

  • I have a feeling there are going to be quite a few very disappointed and possibly even angry people if you don't actually finish this dvd. This is great!

  • Great vid, ive got a 1989 16v with 256mm already on, so this vid will help me change the discs and pads for new 1's

When is the DVD coming out? Id definatly buy it

  • Hey - nice guide. Could be really useful to many, if the whole dvd was finished.

The only thing i missed was info on what car the bigger brakes came from (i´m new at this golf business)

it suggests 16v - but is this from a mk2 as well? Are the G60 brakes the same or even bigger.

    Many questions i know :)

    Thanks for a nice video!

  • they are the same as late mk2 16v brakes yes, 256mm.

these are actually off a p reg seat inca van! exactly the same hubs+brakes.

g60 are 280mm, but with some grinding you can use these calipers and just buy the bigger discs.

  • Thanks champ.

The mk2 i am looking at has the G60 brakes, so it´s nice to know they are 280 mm - you can never have too much brake power :)

Hopefully it will work out, so i can finally get a track car.

    Thanks again :)

  • brilliant!!!! Please keep them coming!

  • Ok but how to upgrade from drums to discs brakes on rear?

  • Good clear how-to. Should possibly make more mention of using the axle stand.

I hope you have insurance for when numpties start following your guides, things go wrong and they try going legal!

  • Excellent video, good idea guys :)

  • Nice job! Keep them coming :)

  • bloody exalent
