The shape of the head sculpt is really what turned me off of this figure. He looks, for lack of a better term, like a baby. The shape of his head, the grin on his face...he's an amused toddler, not a Batman figure.

@sarffito that was the whole point of the toy and character in the comics Jason wanted to kill all of the Wayne family because of what Bruce said he was a let done and disappointment to him. Don't just rate this figure because he looks nothing like the original.

@2009bdaddy That's actually how they looked (on Jason's bat costume) in the graphic novel.  For the most part they were more devil horns than bat ears however the are some parts of the graphic novel where the artists were inconsistent on drawing the ears (some parts they actually do look like bat ears).

@TheReviewSite I just bought it today and I watched this video before I opened it. I was scared to move and bend his arms. I thought they would break of. I was very scared when putting the knife in but I was able to get it in there. I agree totally with the head. I think it was to slim and the ears were to long. In the comics his ears were short and made him look more like a panther. The cowl looks to much like regular batmans. Jason's cowl from the comic was more metal like and rounder. I tota

While the sculpt on this looks decent...in terms of his body. I cannot stand his face. Wow that things ugly. Leaving the mask on would be necessary for me. BTW...what stores do you go to get these guys? I've never seen DC Direct figures in normal retail stores

@optibotimus Yeah DC Direct usually are specialty store figures, they tend to have smaller factory numbers and smaller distribution channels. When I pick up DC Direct or Marvel Select figures I usually find them at Comic book stores that sell figures to or specialty toy stores. The beauty of them usually is that most comic book stores are small enough that the owners don't jack the prices of them right up like some of the larger places might,..oh and you are right sir, he is fug..ly

First of all, Great videos! I been watching them since the DC Superheroes Series (I totally love clayface). In second, maybe the thing that seems wrong with the head is in my opinion the place where the bat ears are, they should be more in the back of the cowl and not in the front, but I dont know. Im agree that something is missing with the figure, anyway im planning to get the whole serie. Keep the great work ;)

The cape looks awesome but other than that I'm not a fan.

Looks like the ammo belt, the utility belt and the holsters could use more paint detailing. I think all those parts look kinda cheap and I don't like the light blue color.

I would give the figure 5 out of 10.

I will rate the Jason Todd batman i think also a 7 or a 7.5. And yea the Two-Face Batman is much better then the JT batman and the head from Jason Todd batman was a bit off i think that the detailing and the horns and face sculpt.

The ears on the head look odd. Like, they're just stuck on as opposed to being part of the costume. Maybe that's it? I see what you mean though, the face doesn't look as cool as it should...but the rest of the figure is fantastic, I think.

Great looking figure spot, and as far as the head goes the ears are on top like that because Jason stole the costume from the crazy "third batman" Michael lane. Lane is currently Azrael but at the time he was a demonic "devil batman" thus the ears looking like horns instead of bat ears.

@nerdsman567 I have and what an incredible animated movie that was, I was surprised with how dark they made it, Joker really plays the dark dark villain, you don't usually get to see that side of Joker in a cartoon, I thought it was done really well even though they had to re write the resurrection of Jason Todd which was a bit of a shame but I guess needed for the plot of the movie

@TheReviewSpot Oh. Well, if you ask me, Jason's resurrection in the movie makes a little more sense. Overall, I found it as a very enjoyable movie. I also like how they make references to other Batman stories in this movie from A Death in the Family, The Killing Joke, the intro to Jason Todd and so forth. I really like it when movies and other media, especially comic book based ones, pay tribute to other works :)

When you said that NOW the face guard would stay on, I remembered that in alot of your video's, you said that you had trouble with the toys' stuff BEFORE the shot.

So, I came up with a reason they do that.

@Afrochicken100 surprisingly in the places where I've seen these, the batgirls and the Azraels were the ones they were out of, maybe the Two face and the Jason Todd come in a larger qty per case, Jason Todd seems pretty easy to find right now, but then again this line just came out, give it time and he might become a hard one to find
