Useful little tool....very clever! I think I'll copy this just to help me pick up all the tiny screws and things my fat ol' fingers have trouble grabbing. Thanks for the video!
@TheLeoGeckokid why are you trying so hard to prove what you know and lashing out at everyone? I don't see any posts besides yours that are rude and I don't see any reason that you would be calling people names. Just go watch Justin Bieber videos and leave the grownups alone.
cool little device. I don;t do gold panning only gold from computers so excuse my ignorance but why do you remove the black sand, Does it not also contain gold?
Oh yeah I know this vid is a year old but don't listen to haters
@guitarbridgecleaner your fucking retarded it has ematite, magnatite (which, by the way, can be magnetic, but gets it's name from the area it was originally found in called Magnesia, bordering the ancient district of Macedonia), iron, iron pyrite, silvanites, lead carbonates, sphalerite, chromite, and sheelite imagine that i found that on wiki now you know why black sand is magnetic you fucking moron research before you say shit on the internet that will make you look like a moron

what are you doing ..just go buy a dam magnet...or if you just have to be destructive then try a 6x9 speaker magnet...hope that didn't come out of your computer..lol guys get over the black sand issue you will never get anything useful from it unless you use mercury and grind it to break the bond of the host gold from the iron ore..besides a magnet is pretty much for people who cant pan...i dont get it...
@guitarbridgecleaner black sand is a combination of magnetite, iron ore, and iron pyrite, along with other heavy metals, many of which are magnetic, excluding the precious metals. the majority of black sand is magnetite, which is very common, and will naturally jump out from sand and latch onto nearby neodymium magnets (weaker magnets dont have strong enough pull to overcome the weight of magnetite)
this clip seems so drymatic then it is.... because of the music....espsecially when I was off doing other stuff on other tabs.... I was like wtf is going on?..... (to many dots..............)
@guitarbridgecleaner lol, Seriously bro, a comment like that says more about you then it does about me. Maybe next time you should do a little research before you start popping off at the mouth. But thanks for the comment, I needed a good laugh.
@guitarbridgecleaner Black sand when used in the context of placer gold, is hematite a form of iron. Additionally several rare earth elements are included. Magnets can remove the hematite as well as some of the rare earth elements. Further processing is needed to isolate the gold from the rest.
Very cool! I enjoyed your video. Good idea. What is the music?
