DS is a good investment, there's so many games for it these days. And for some reason, women are loving that system. I'd personally get a PSP just cuz there's games there I like more, but a DS is a mighty strong choice. But it seems you already kept your Wii.

I'm in the same situation as you (minus the whole parents dictating part since I'm a adult)

but yeah I don't see any upcoming games within these 3 years that interest me at all. My Wii and PS3 has been pretty much collecting dust while I play my 360 all the time. Now with the Rock Band 2 in a few days and Gears of War 2 in two more months I see no point in keeping my PS3 aswell after getting tired of MGS4.

I would hold on on buying a DS. They are releasing a newer "widescreen" model.

I have tried twilight princess and metroid prime 3, i got bored of them both. I dont like horror (Fatal Frame 4). Mad World does not intest me. No More Heroes looks ok, but idk.

I agree with ya, i have the same opinion, no good games out yet for the wii but you know what? I would never ever sell ma wii because its just such an inovative console, most selling system on the market and when good games are out later on you will have regrets about your decision, i had an ds and i sold it because the ds is just not worth the money in my opinion, okay if you like pokemon, maybe its good but the other games like cooking mama, brain training and crap like that...

I think Nintendo failed ever since they made the Wii life like, where you had to interact, after all I'm just a fan of realistic games using controllers, that aren't life like, but if "us" people plan to make reality helmits in the future, count me in.

See the only problem with selling systems is that there will usually be one or two games that come out on that system and then FUDGE... you can't play it cuz the system was sold. So yeah... I'm keeping my Wii just for instances like that since I know its bound to happen.
