  • @richluvsellie WOW, thanks friend! It is really nice when someone appreciates my videos :-) Take care :-)

  • Thanks for the advice. Keep jamin !

  • Nice playing! In the market for a Blues Jr but can't decide which. Is your NOS versatile enough for hard rock and does it love pedals like the tolex version?

  • @SoJo414 it is the same amp, besides cosmetics the only thing that makes it sound different is the Jensen speaker in the NOS. I personally do not like to use pedals on this amp. Maybe an overdrive pedal would sound ok if you need more saturation. With humbuckers it can pull off classic rock ok. If I was way more into rock this would not be my choice amp. There is a Blues Jr. 3 out now though, they are a little different than the older model. Thanks friend :-)

  • Great stuff! Fantastic tone and playing!

  • @storyofthewolf Thanks :-) Take care :-)

  • You have mad skills.!Awesome.Keep rocking.

  • You have mad skills. Why do a lot of guitar players also own a keyboard?

  • @SpreadingTruths Thanks friend, I find Keyboards and guitars are friends, seem to work together in some way. Take care :-)

  • SM57!

  • @zunaic it is actually a sm58 mic, sorry for the mistake. Take care

  • @willyboogerblues thats funny i had the same experience. ive never played a piano and ive been playin guitar for 1 year (at the time, im 2 years in now) and i was able to play the piano well when i tried. somehow they go together

  • Woah! Slow down there Willy! My brain is gonna explode from all the awesomeness!

  • @liquidclock haha....Thank you friend, take care :-)

  • hey man, what's your opinion about this pickups? I'd like to buy one for my guitar, but I'm in doubt between the fender hot noiseless and the fender vintage noiseless. Witch one do you think is better? Thanks.

  • @puhuinha25 Hot ones may be more suitable for rock. It is louder and from what I can tell, brighter. VNPU are more quiet and I feel very balanced. If you can, Try before you buy :-) Thanks friend

  • would you put up a tutorial of some of the techniques you used

  • yesterday i looked for a peavey classic amp review, after some good reviews i found yours ... now i'm addicted! hehehe

  • sweet... really great sound...

    spot on timing brother...

  • @danarevalo Thank you :-)

  • Awesome!!!

  • jejeje I dont like fender guitars (telecasters only), but now, I thinking' about jaja

  • @martisitus Cool, but my guitar is a G&L. Thanks friend :-)

  • @willyboogerblues one of my guitars is a chinese made squier strat. i am thinking of upgrading the pickups to the vintage noiseless. Do you reccomend?(p.s i play the same style music and i love the tone you got. i am telling you this just in case the style of music i play is important to what pickups i buy)

  • @masey213 everyone is a little different. The noiseless pickups are not very loud (Hot). They have good sound to me.They are very great at rejecting buzz,hum..ect better than my Humbucker.I feel it pulls off the single coil classic strat sound very good. The amp is at least equal of importance of sound. It all works together.Electric guitar is only half the instrument. If you do not like, you can always try something else. Thanks friend, take care :-)

  • @willyboogerblues Thank you sooo much for the reply(which you did very fast.) youre an awesome guitar player btw. Just so you know i have a fender princeton non-reverb amp from 1965. its a pretty good amp but i prefer the fender blues jr. when i use it, the tone is always amazing. The reason i dont love my amp is because i feel very limited to different tones

  • @masey213 You are very welcome. Pretty cool amps you got there. I feel I would like to buy a Fender Super Sonic 22 or 60. Maybe one day I will get one. Thanks friend.

  • what( nos )stands for?

  • @fld1201 New Old Stock :-)

  • @willyboogerblues thanks

  • hey buddy what type of amp would you use with g&l s500 mfd pick ups

  • @josesoliz100 single pickup guitars, like strats, I like the sound of the Blues jr, Super Sonic 22 or 60. For Cleaner sounds Deluxe Reverb, Super Reverb, ect. Egnater Renegade or Rebel 30 does good. That is what I would like. This may or may not be what you would like. Thanks friend :-)

  • I'm absolutely blown away by the playing! Love it and the tone. Awesome :)

Could listen to it all night. Good on ya!

  • @bigbreath Thank you :-)

  • Hi Willy. I have the same HSS strat and want to change the pickups.

I love the sound in your guitar of the Vintage Noiless, but what pickups you choose for middle position and most important por the hum of the brigde.

Seems like you like the same sound than I loof for.

    Thanks from Argentina.

  • @Horacio1975arg I have Dimarzio area 58 in middle and Seymore Duncan humbucker in bridge, do not know what model. Thanks friend :-)

  • @willyboogerblues

Thanks for answer. We wait you in some blues jam in argentina if you come...

  • Man I am really taken by your tone it was great.

Keep uplifting GOD with your playing GOD bless

  • let me tell you something you prob already know, there are a lot of things i could say about your playing but ill make it simple ill just say this, your blues playing is the dogs nutts, thankyou

  • Fantastic sound man!! say could you tell me what settings u use for getting a good sound like this on the blues junior;)?

  • @coupe662 sorry, I do not remember

  • Hey willie I bought the Blues Jr NOS today and all I can say is I love it , played it for a couple hours and it sounds even better at home than it did and GC.

  • @DannyLGuitar Congrats friend! It really is a cool amp, I still use it to gig with and record. Take care :-)

  • great playing dude. and great tone too.

  • @centrothl Thanks friend

  • I could listen to you all day... all day.

  • Hello Willie was wondering did you mod you bluesjr nos.. curious if you have any Billm mods installed?

  • @DannyLGuitar No MODS were done to this amp, thanks

  • Very very good. Great tone, great playing.

I'm considering to bye Blues Junior as my second amp, but is it loud enough to play it with whole band? Can it get through with drums, bass and other guitars? What's your experience?

  • @yuga27 It seems this amp is a very loud 15 watts,I have played with drummers, bass, guitar and singers. It is very borderline,in my opinion on the volume thing. Most times in a big band, when we first start playing I seem to do well on volume, then after playing a few songs,I slowly start drowning out. Then I sometimes cannot be heard at all.Sometimes I play at a Thai Restaurant and I always have plenty of volume to spare there. Practice, studio and small venues seem to fit this amp. Thanks :-)

  • if you don't play for a living you should

  • @tboat63 Thanks friend :-)

  • Wooo...Smokin Man!...Smokin!

  • love it... strat sound + no hum

  • YOU are the man...

  • i have 3 vintage noisless pickups in my strat and i was searching for the Fender Blues Jr. on your channel, COINSIDENCE, i think not.

  • @TeamXTREMEPANTERA haha, it is a cool setup, :-)

  • YES!

  • Loved your emotion and obviously your skills on the geetar. Keep playing them blues willybooger. Peace

  • @glassbottleblues Thank you my friend :-)

  • nice tone for the nos.... great guitar skill too... can you tell me the bridge tremolo you are using with your strat?

  • @lynoj777 it is a fixed bridge that G&L makes, it is a G&L guitar. I like the feel and sound from it. For blues, I like a fixed bridge. Thanks friend :-)

  • Very Nice!!

  • Your as nasty as 3 week old dirty underwear. Very nice.

  • @Stratophilia and a stank diaper....haha Thanks friend :-)

  • Hey man nice way of playing, can i play rock or hardrock with this pickups?

or just blues, jazz, smooth rock etc

  • @Gusztiavo These are nice pickups, but are not hot. If your amp has very heavy distortion you may be ok. If I was playing heavy rock to metal these would not be my first choice. For a nice straty Fatty single coil sound, I feel these does great. For AC/DC to Metallica you may find more satisfaction in the humbucker world. Just my thoughts, thanks friend :-)

  • Word!

  • That's what i'm talk'n bout

After that gotta rename amp blues senior

  • Bravooo, the sound and playing is great!!!

  • @beliblues Thanks friend, I try ..haha take care :-)

  • Amazing man...

  • @thebigdiegowski Much Thanks :-)

  • @willyboogerblues I'm gonna buy the vintage noiseless are they very awesome?

  • @thebigdiegowski I like these PU very much. They are not high output at all. But to me it has a great sound.Has the nice single coil fat strat cry I like. I raise mine up high for more punch. Thanks friend :-)

  • @willyboogerblues Subscribed

  • terrific!!! 5 stars plus!! just goes to prove it's all in the heart...and hands. You've got them big sausage fingers but that hasn't got in your way at all, bro. (not an insult, just a compliment from one fat-fingered hombre to another).

  • @ed4564 Thanks for comment. Take care

  • Hey man :) Great playing, i was just wandering how did you wire your mic etc. Like do you use a shure sm57 into a line 6 or m-audio interface or usb mic?? Keep the blues rollin :) Cheers

  • @MrJimmiClapton it was actually a sm58 straight into yamaha interface, no tricks, just put the mic where I thought it sounded best. Thanks

  • Great playin man, awesome pick ups

  • @bomboloneallacrema Thanks Friend :-)

  • Greetings from the UK, maximum respect for your talent man. Lovin' it !

  • @jonnieshotgun Thank you :-)

  • I'm very impressed! You remind me of the great Buddy Whittington. Get out of the house and play to real people... Good luck

  • sound is pretty big and bright...what you want from the neck...I would have guessed that it was an over wound pickup..but it's a stock fender noiseless pickup? good tone

  • @vlurton yes, stock, Thanks friend

  • well, this convinced me to buy one. Great playing! What were your settings here?

  • @Bluesy1990 I do not exactly remember my settings ....haha. But with all respect. please try it out if you can before you buy, Everyone is different, see if you like by demo :-) God Bless

    Willybooger :-) Thanks friend

  • Fukin killer playing man

  • @Udonitron Thank you

  • Will this amp give you a Slash or SRV type tone if you run it with a pedal? And a great bluesy rock tone?

  • @Sandman198908 This is a good blues amp and can pull off classic rock tones as well. I would not go this route if I was wanting Slash sounds, but pedals can help add more distortion. I have not tried a tube screamer to go more for SRV. I am not much into pedals when I play blues. If I was looking for a guitar amp to cover heavy rock and metal to blues, I would not be using this amp most likely. I have used a Line 6 into this amp and to me the heavier sounds just was not working for me with this.

  • @Sandman198908 however, I feel this amp does what it is made for second to none. Thanks friend

  • Is this your main amp?

  • @vlurton Yes, at this time it is my only. I really seem to get good results from this amp in the studio or on stage. Thanks

  • Sounds great man! , are you using a tubescreamer or is it just the amp's sound?

  • @haydenjohnoleary no....straight in, thanks

  • @willyboogerblues Thanks for your reply! keep the videos coming!

  • ...you are HOT.

  • @TheCelestialTeacup THanks friend!

  • BRUTAL!! Congrats! You r amazing!! Great skills on the guitar!

I want to ask you a question. I'm from Venezuela and I'm about to buy my first Fender Stratocaster, have like 11 years playing but for economical reasons I haven't got a Strat yet! Soooo!! What would you suggest me? I'm between a Fender American Standard and a Fender American Special HSS. Thx for your help and keep on rocking on the free world!! BTW, check out my channel and subscribe! Cheers!

  • @edixavi Very COOL! Well, both are cool guitars. I guess if you like classic single coil sounds AS is cool, if you want to play some classic then use the humbuckers for some metal that is cool to. Ultimately. If you want both worlds (classic and crunch) maybe the HSS would be cool, if you want more of the single classic sound all the way AS (American Standard) may be the way to go, it is your call, I hope I helped friend. Rock on friend either way :-) Thank you :-)

  • I'm crying, because you are fucking up so bad. You're another SRV (maybe better) but you don't believe in yourself. What do we have to do to get you to believe in your talents? Tell me you are going to take some vocal lessons and blow peoples minds with your incredible voice, guitar playing, keyboards and presense. Ya, I said "presense"! You are an unborn legend. Get out of your womb and hit the stage lights already!

You don't seem to know yourself. YOU'RE THE SECOND COMING OF TEXAS BLUES !!!

  • @1971SuperLead Your compliments are overwhelming, thank you so much :-)

  • @willyboogerblues You want to thank me???? Go see a vocal instructor you admire and then go play out. Do some BB King songs or SRV or ZZ Top. Fuck dude. Why the fuck are you denying this world your gifts? Are you an asshole? We want to see you singing and playing! Got it? I will put a posse together and drag you onto stage. Got it? Are you calling around for a vocal instructer yet? Do it now. NOW! No! NOW!!!!

I know a great voice when I hear one. Don't act like you don't have one!

  • @1971SuperLead God Bless you for caring enough to tell me this. Your presence is fully noted, but I do not feel at this time I want to sing, it is not really in my interest, I truly favor the instrument the most, but time will show my destiny, Thank you :-)

  • @willyboogerblues, You will be showered with dollars if you sing. All those dollars could feed hungry children. It's no sin to make money. The sin is to spend it on yourself. Think of the incredible joy you'll have feeding the poor! Every song you sing will feed a thousand children. How can you deny them? Forget the lessons then and just sing. Sing your heart out. I KNOW you got heart. I hear it loud and clear. You're a beautiful soul. Don't deny the world your beautiful soul. It needs it!

  • isnt it too bright for neck pickup ?

  • @dnbdivert sound is subjective. If you think it is, then it is. Thanks friend

  • you seem like a Tone Junkie, or headed towards becoming one... that amp sounds good, i bet it would sound even better with a stock or reissue stratocaster, you know (regular tremolo system-no humbucker) and such. most tone junkies leave humbuckers to LesPauls, and keep Stratocasters true to Leo Fender's original design...

  • @SmokinDaveWolfe Leo Fender's company did make this guitar, it is a G&L. For blues I rather use a fixed bridge. I just play what I like, if it sounds good or not so good, I am not to concerned these days. Thanks friend :-)

  • MAN YOU GOT THE BLUES!!!!!
