this boss is actually rather easy with the hellfire spell (Up, Down, Down-forward, Forward, attack)

Don't waste your axes on Slogra, just attack him, don't even worry about Gaibon until Slogra is dead, then waste all your axes on Gaibon, piece of cake.

the boss is very easy i played the game way back in 1997 and i still have it for the PS1 you should have gotten the leather shield to block the fire balls or just duck...but when you got the Hide Curris or what ever thats where the shield was suppose to be but i guess the 360 version is different

You can duck under the big and small fireballs, thats what I did.

i fought gaibon and slorga under leveled. it wasnt as hard for me.

Use the knives on them instead of the axe, they only take 1 heart to use and will deal about 14ish per hit - and quite a bit easier to use/ more accurate then the axes

Dude, the trick is, use a shield. You must've missed the Leather Shield item, which was earlier in the Alchemy Lab. It deflects all of Gaibon's fireballs(big and small). Shields in SotN are a big help, though many consider them a cheat.
